Bottle 33cl from Henrik thanks, a cloudy copper amber beer with low head. Nose is on agrumes with alcohol burning. Aroma is very sweet, oranges notes, very bitter, too much on my point of view. Grainy, malty, sweet yeast notes, unbalanced and even a bit sickening.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
It has a caramel smell with biscuit and apricots present. It is very cloudy and a darker pale yellow with minimal head. It has a strong floral and alcohol taste with hints of alcohol. It is quite pleasing except for the alcohol aftertaste.

Wow, very interesting. This is very vinous, like a sparkling tokaji. The alcohol is definitely offer the top here, but as a dessert wine, it’s solid. :-)

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Barley Wine, Copenhagen - Murky orange pour with a medium head. Caramel boozy sweet malt, hop character to this. Hard to define the tastes as the abv and thick body really masks everything else. Certainly an experience drinking such a high abv ale, but doubt I will be revisiting/repeating this particular experience again.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pour is a deep, attractive, cloudy copper with a medium white head. Aroma is orange juice concentrate, alcohol, grapefruit juice, hairspray, and resin. A little astringent; at times like urine and at times like sweet malt. Flavor is intense resinous hop up front with a shot of sweet malt in the middle followed by a long finish that starts with tongue-numbing pine hops and then transforms into light hoppy butterscotch malt. A beer to share. I expected not to like this but the long finish really saves it for me. Intense.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured electric orange with soapy off white that diminished quickly. Aromas are slightly mutee but has a ripe apricot/grapefruit aroma and a little bit of funk. Taste has a noticeable alcohol warming but is not hot. Flavors of mango, apricot and alcohol are most noteable. Finish it slightly bitter with apparent alcohol. Balance is heavily sweet which is uncharacteristic of its style.
