Very strong beer from Lervig in collabaration with Mikkeller. I would say this is almost undrinkable alone due to alcohol sticking through very hard. Supplemented with dark chokolate its ok. Cant say I enjoyed this beer..

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is caramel, alcohol, citrus, peach and grapefruit. Flavour is caramel, boozy alcohol, citrus, pine, peach and grapefruit. To much alcohol.

330mL bottle at Mikkeller Bar, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small beige head. Aroma of heavy caramel malts, big resinous hops, and some earthy notes. Flavour is intensely sweet for a DIPA, with loads of syrupy caramel malts, big rich resinous hops, and stone fruits. Very sweet, but also fitting somehow -- bordering on a barley wine. Quite complex, and well-balanced despite the intense sweetness. Not usually a fan of these ultra sweet Imperial IPAs, but this works well. Great stuff.

Cold bottle. BBE July 2023. Orange pour, no head. Smells like a rye beer. Taste - more rye, caramel, sweet rose water, orange liquer and floral hops, a bit astringent. Slightly boozey finish but alcohol fairly well hidden overall for a 14% beer. Definite American style IPA, and a pretty authentic copy.

Bottle from State Line. Pours cloudy orange gold with white head ring. Nose and taste of grapefruit, alcohol, caramel malt and alcohol soaked fruits. Finishes very boozy caramel. Harsh on the palate. Full bodied. A bit too much for my liking.

Cloudy gold beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is slightly viscous but with good minerally carbonation. Sweet creamy malt, lactose. A little spicy alcohol and a brandy vibe. Spicy pine hops with fresh hop sting. Crispy finish. Interesting beer - obviously strong but not showing it’s full 14.0%.

Bottle... Cloudy, dirty-orange ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Decent retention. The aroma is a mishmash of toffee, orange blossom honey and biscuit intertwined with flora, tropical fruit and marmalade. Full-bodied and downright chewy with tingly carbonation. Big, robust, fruity and floral bitterness seamlessly balances the mammoth amount of sweet, toffee and fruitcake-like malts. Bitter, sugary, fruity, tongue-numbing finish. This beer really does mean business. Bottle courtesy Plovmand!

On bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika. Golden hazy color, ok foam. High aroma intensity; hops and caramel, toffee and vanilla- some fruitiness. Full body & high complexity . Immediate sweetness, balanced well with bitterness . Very enjoyable
