From tap, poured almost black with nice foam. The smell is of chocolate and coffee, mostly coffee and some vanilla. Sweet taste with a bitter and mildly burning end.

Bottle. Pours an opaque black with a big, light brown head. Sweet and dry with aromas of roasted malts, cocoa, coffee, pepper and a bit minty. Medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Taste is coffee, roasted malts, light peppery. There is also a vegatable and minty touch wich give it a funny touch. Bitter finish with some burnt notes and a nice little chili kick in the end. A nice funky porter, i like it! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2014 Didn´t know what to expect from this with the bunch of "weird ingredients" that was listed on the bottle. No worries, this is a very good beer. Aroma of roast and dark chocolate and espresso. Taste is a remarkable bittersweet melting pot of flavors: spices, chilli, vegetables, coffee, chocolate... This brew is an experiment that went very well!

Bottle shared with BBGTC. Pours a jet black body with a large creamy caramel head. Nose is Mexican "all spice" mix, herbs, peppery spicey tones, sweet syrupy notes, hints of dark chocolate, mild cough syrup mixture, grains and chili. A bit strange, but interesting. Taste is coffee, lime-like fruityness, mild chili, vanilla, syrup and hints of herbs, licorice, spices, cumin and leather. Medium body , soft to medium carbonation. Complex and weird, but pretty nice.

Bottle from AmmersinO, Vienna. Black body, with a thick, creamy, beautifully dark tan colored head, that sticks to the glass a lot. Complex aroma of nuts, cocoa beans, coffee, spices and a bit too much vegetables for my liking. Taste is also complex, with bitter cocoa beans, coffee, chili, nuts, spices and less vegetables than in the smell. Mouthfeel is medium to full, creamy, with a medium carbonation and it finishes strong roasty-bitter, with cocoa and coffee beans, spices, some chili and some vegetables. Very good, a really unique brew! Altough it is dark, roasty and bitter, it still is pretty good to drink. Maybe too much vegetable aromas, that disturb the otherwise good balance a bit.

Pours a dark beer with a big beige head. Smells spicy, coffee and lightly burnt. somewhere the almond is in there. Easier to find the chilli. Tastes great. Bitter but really balanced for a stout. Really nice and gentle palate. Really not aggressive or overdone but a lot of flavour. I love this.

Aroma: toasted malts, chocolate, hoppy bitters. Appearance: dark brown, small beige head. Taste: light to medium bitter. Palate: very dry bitters, toasted flavours. Overall: a mixed bag, palate too bitter, aroma unconvincing. Bottle at Euston Tap, London.
