3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle. Pours an opaque black, with a large tan head, which lasts very well and leaves excellent lacing. Smoky, slightly sweet chilli, bitter dark chocolate and refried beans make up the aroma. A slight sweet chilli flavour up front gives way to Tabasco and hot chilli, mixed with mild citrus hops. Bittersweet dark chocolate comes into the mid-palate, teamed with some mild smoky chilli. Sweet chilli and a mild fruity flavour that could be the avocado leaf combine in the finish. This is certainly a very strange beer, but nevertheless an enjoyable one.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampler at What’s Brewing 2014, Stavanger. Black body with a huge, dense, creamy, brown head. Milky roasted, coffee and raw liquorice on the nose. Inviting and wonderful. Burnt and roasted malts, vanilla, roasted raisins in the mouth and a subtle chili warmth. Smooth and full bodied. Recommended!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
The aroma is full of tar, chocolate, coffee, chili, smoke, corn, toasted barley and beans. The color is pitch black just like tar or engine oil. The taste is full of chocolate, coffee, chili and smoke. It feels bitter and heavy on the tongue. The finish is long and bitter. One of the most complex beers I have tasted in a long time. This is amazing!

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a bomber into tulip glass. Huge head on this that took a whole to settle down. Fun aroma that's filled with chili peppers and soy sauce. The taste is quite complex and interesting. It starts off amazing with a nice oily texture complemented by a sweet, savory, roasty flavor that stands up with the best imperial stouts. The flavor then gets a bit uncomfortably weird, with an intense vegetable flavor. I eventually got used to it and still enjoyed the beer.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Growler Beers. Black body with a huge tan head. Excellent lacing. Aroma of burnt rubber, star anise, avocado, spices and Twiglets. Flavour of milk chocolate, lime and green pepper. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Faint carbonation. An odd beer that grew on me - it started as a 3.1.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I am not a fan of spicy beers. probably its an amazing beer, well brewed, BUT i cant appreciate that cause of its spiciness.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
33cl bottle from Utobeer, London. Pours nearly black with a good solid nut brown head. Aromas of initial cocoa, chilli, and a strange freshness coming from somewhere. Taste is pretty mad, hard to describe, but the chilli comes out in the finish subtly with a bitter aftertaste. This beer is pretty crazy but a must try.
