Bottle, bought at Kihoskh july 2012. Cloudy golden body, big white head. Aroma of wood, wine, flowers and honey. Semi sour taste, pine and tropical fruits, balancing malt sweetness. Quite nice!

Bottle, 375ml. A cloudy amber beer with a medium size white foamy head. Sour fruity aroma with a hint of alcohol. Taste is sour with a strong alcoholic finish. Medium bodied with some carbonation and astringency. Very rich with a strong double alcoholic aftertaste. Rare Belgian Strong Ale.

Bottle, 375ml. Murky amber with a frothy tan head. Rich fruity and sour aroma with a hint of alcohol. Medium to light bodied with moderate carbonation. Sweet, with less sourness than the aroma suggested. Fiery bitter and alcohol finish. Unusual Belgian style, light in theory with a tremendously heavy finish.

BOTTLE. Pours a muddy orange to brown with no head. Honey, apple, lemon & butter menthol on the nose. Citric bitterness upfront, some sweet almost caramel malt to finish off.. Crazy flavours, hard to put my finger on.. Sourced pourhouse

Looks..Murky orange amber, small head. Smells.. Some white vinous notes, grassy, buttery & caramel/candy, toffee.. ’Strong’ belgian ale-ness very noticeable.. Tastes..grass, old woody green grapes, candy/caramel, dark sugar and alcohol. Really soaks the palette and shows it’s 8.7% almost feels more boozy.

Bottle @ home. Thanks for the bottle, Erik. Hazed dark amber/orange pour with a small khaki head. Smells kind of like old hops. Citrus, grass, and a bunch of orange peel. Some oak, tangy pear, and yeast. A slight booziess to the flavor and a whole lot of pear, apple, and maybe some banana. White grape, oak, and a lot of grass. Some drying oak.

Pours murky brown with a small head. Nose shows chocolate fudge, sultanas, golden syrup, booze and creme caramel. Flavours include soft vanilla oak notes, sweet brown sugar, bready malt, soft booze and some slightly astringent tannin-like notes. Too highly carbonated.

Impressive bubblegum aroma in a deep, dark brown pour. Taste is surprisingly light and interestingly complex - both of which leaves one wanting another.
