Thanks to walt@rbwg2012. Hazy golden color with white head. Bready white bread, dusty pale malt, spicy aromas. Medium body. Lightly sweet palt malt flavors with grass, earthy hop--good

Bottle, shared with Jeff. Well, after the dismal FAIL of the Hop2It IPA I wanted to bring out something that would be a guarentee win. So naturally I reached for this little gem, seeing as Mikkeller has rarely (never?) let me down. Pours a hazy honey gold with a rapidly collapsing frothy white head that retains as a messy thin mattress. Aroma is very nice: sweet white grapes, light floral perfume (jasmine?), subtle barnyard funk, ripe juicy tangerine (the flesh, not the peel). Really nice! Flavours live up to the nose with sweet fruit, light floral notes, and soft funkiness that ends in a lightly tart finish. This would be such a nice summertime patio beer if it wasn’t so expensive and if it didn’t clock in at nearly 9% (although it absolutely hides it). Superb!

Bottle. Dark yellow haze. One finger foam. Basement yeast aromas blended with white malty notes. Dry with hiding sweetness. Betyde Wine-like appearance and taste. Nice but is it worth the price.

Pour hazy cobber, with large fizzy, bubbly white head. Aroma has funky yeasty banana notes, barnyard, cherries, wood, caramel, slight booze. Some dry sweet vinous notes as well. Some orange/lemony also. Taste is sweet, with a mixture of both sour and bitter. Slight watery body, with a fizzy carb. A lot of heat in the throat. A little too much compared to the flavor and palate.

Bottle. Hazy light copper with a small white head. This beer was ok but a bit bland. Yeast, fruit, grass, oak and some soap. Also a light tartness in the taste.

Mycket lätt lite kryddig doft och smak. Torr fatton annars inte så spännande. Smått blommig. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy dark golden, light/thin head medium carbonation. Smells oaky and funky (not overly strong though) hints of herbs a little bit of a wine tang. Tastes yeasty belgian farmyard funk, oaky, grapes and herbs with a nice smokiness at the back of the palate, good full body with a slightly oily mouth feel, loving the long lingering finish from the barrel aging. I’ll have to get another bottle to cellar for a few years.
