33cl bb03/2018, Delh. Won. - trademark PoMo take on a Victorian classic, de- and then reconstructing what is elemental and so tasty about this oldfashioned nurturing style: sweet fresh lactose, milk cream and strawberries on Grand Manier over charcoaled-roasted malts, Wiener Kaffee, chocolate. Kinderschokolade in taste is only an aspect of the sweetness soon blown up into fruity fragments of orangeat, yogurette, mocha ice cream. Great clean bitter hoppy ending sealing the deal. Not always a fan of the multitude of Mikkeller’s sins, but hats off to this deliciously drinkable piece of precision engineering.

Huge brown head. Opaque black body. Roasty sugary aroma with perfumy notes. Sweetish roasty coffee taste with spicy roasty notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry-sweet roasty wild berry taste with fruity coffee notes. Nice, interesting, drinkable. (0.33l bottle, from Kihoskh, Copenhagen.)

33cl. Pours dark brown-black with dark brown head. Aroma of milk, sugar and surprisingly - stout. This is absolutely not what I expected, but trying this it immediately made sense. Smooth, easy drinking, sweet and enjoyable, yet stouty-dry and malty. I have not had any milk stout for more than 4 years, and I have actually forgotten the feeling.

RyanK (259) - Rhode Island, USA - AUG 27, 2015
Pours thick and dark with a frothy brown head that dissipates slowly. Smells strongly of chocolate (think baking and fudge) and roasted malts. Is relatively thick bodied with a little more carbonation that it needs. Tastes strongly of chocolate, a mix of dark and milk really, with a dry roasted malt finish. Good representation of the style and bolder than most other Milk stouts.

Black with big foamy beige head, aromas of molasses, raisins, coffee. In mouth, very sweet (it’s dessert in a glass) with slightly bitter finish. Good texture (not too thin nor too thick). Overall interesting if you can take the sweetness.
