Cask at the Milkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours black with a big frothy tan head. The aroma is malty and fruit leading to a gorgeously smooth malty chocolate and liqourice taste. The 6% alcohol really adds something to this beer too. This is perhaps the best milk stout I've ever had.

New Beer Distributors, NYC bottle ($6): Pours black with a light brown head. Aroma is sugar, dark chocolate, roasted malts, and dark roast coffee. This is certainly a hoppier and roastier milk stout than most which seek to just be agreeable. Here you get that milky sweetness up front, but the finish and aftertaste is pretty hard roast. That said, they are in equipoise, which is nice. Good beer.

Black colour with a tan rocky head and good lacings. Aromas of roast chocolate malt, espresso and notes of milk chocolate. Light carbonation with a smooth like velvety texture and a medium body. Milk-coffee light caramel/toffee sweetness with a noticeable roast chocolate bitterness. Sweet slick medium lasting finish.

Fat på Mikkeller bar, Viktoriagade, Köpenhamn. Smak och doft av rostad malt, kaffe, choklad med toner av vanilj. Rund och len, fadd, torr, beska med viss syrlighet och bitterhet från kaffet. Mycket gott!

Brune très foncée opaque, effervescence faible, col brun crémeux. Malts torréfiés, chocolat noir, moka léger, fruits foncés bien mûrs, un peu trop douce, crémeuse au palais

Milky and strong roasted malt flavored dominate. Smells like roasted malts. Strongly carbonated. Has a nice sweet coffee finish. Had a bottle pour at home. Great beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle bought at Delhaize. Sweet, chocolate, caramel, nice stout. We can suddenly buy this in the supermarket. What is happening to the world...

Pretty nice milk stout. Not overly complex but nicely ballanced between sweetness and some bitternes. Notes of coffee, vanilla and chocolate.

A fine well-balanced Milk Stout, pleasant carbonation. Perhaps over priced at $6 a bottle.
