Cask at the Milkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours black with a big frothy tan head. The aroma is malty and fruit leading to a gorgeously smooth malty chocolate and liqourice taste. The 6% alcohol really adds something to this beer too. This is perhaps the best milk stout I've ever had.

33cl. Pours dark brown-black with dark brown head. Aroma of milk, sugar and surprisingly - stout. This is absolutely not what I expected, but trying this it immediately made sense. Smooth, easy drinking, sweet and enjoyable, yet stouty-dry and malty. I have not had any milk stout for more than 4 years, and I have actually forgotten the feeling.

Pours thick and dark with a frothy brown head that dissipates slowly. Smells strongly of chocolate (think baking and fudge) and roasted malts. Is relatively thick bodied with a little more carbonation that it needs. Tastes strongly of chocolate, a mix of dark and milk really, with a dry roasted malt finish. Good representation of the style and bolder than most other Milk stouts.

Bottle at home. Pours opaque black with a creamy tan head. The aroma is milky chocolate and roasted malts. Some bready notes. Oat and licorice notes. Sweet roasted flavor. Good intensity. Creamy feel to it. Chocolate and oat.

Black with big foamy beige head, aromas of molasses, raisins, coffee. In mouth, very sweet (it’s dessert in a glass) with slightly bitter finish. Good texture (not too thin nor too thick). Overall interesting if you can take the sweetness.

Bottle. Black colour with a big foamy beige head. Aroma has notes of caramel and roasted malt. Sweet taste with light bitterness and notes of chocolate and coffee. Medium body with a very smooth texture, average carbonation, and a sweet finish. Great stout. I do not mind the sweetness.

Bottle - 330ml. Opaque black body with a good, lasting, beige frothy head. Robust malty/hoppy aroma with coffeeish hints. Its strong malty/hoppy taste carries coffeeish and woody notes. Ends with a long roasty finish. Good stuff.
