330ml bottle. Pitch black color, medium tan head, looks nice. Heavy roast (could say ashy even), tobacco in aroma. Sweet, ashy, roasted malts in flavor. Bit too much carbonation overshadows milky smoothness.

Aroma: full of lactose, coffee substitute, roasted dark malts. Appearance: dark color, and nice beige head. Taste: medium bitterness (roasted dark malts), lactose, coffee, roasted dark malts, really smooth and easy drinking. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, roasted finish. Overall: Great milk stout, recommended.

33cl bottle. This is a pretty delicious milk stout. Not my favorite style of beer but I enjoy it as I would a milk chocolate. Very drinkable and smooth. Great mouth feel. Narrow taste but warming and satisfying. Aroma poor but taste compensate it very well. Good beer.

Bottle. Black colour with a large tan head. Aroma of roasted and burnt malt, lactose, some hops. The flavour is sweet initially, a lactose sweetness, with a more roasted and burnt finish, average bitterness. Simple. I don’t mind lactose in stout per se but I’m not such a fan when it is the dominant character as is the case with this beer.

Botle. Pours dark dark brown with huge dense and creamy light-brown head, that settles nicely. Aroma is sweet lactose and milky chocolate. Some roasted malts and coffee in the background. Hint if puddersukker (brown fain). Taste is sweet milky, milk chocolate. Smooth and creamy body. Really nice dry cocoa bitter finish, that balances out the sweetness.

Tap at Ei8ht Ball. Doughy richness. Pungent island style, very true. Super sweet. OK.

33 cl bottle @ home. Aroma liquorice, chocolate, black malts, some vanilla. Pours with big frothy tan head, quickly disolves into a tiny head. Colour is black. Quite sweet, but balanced with the bitterness from the black malt and hops. Good body, thick texture, light carbonation, finish is long lasting black sweetness

"A little tiny bit rough at first, due to the bitterness of the cocoa and the carbonation, but i still liked it. Milk chocolate, roasted coffee..then it opens up and every aspect gets better and better. Deeeeelicious. Less milk, drinks big for 6%."

UPDATED: SEP 14, 2014 Bottle. Pours pitch black with tan, brown head. Nice lacing. Aromas of both sweet & dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee and vanilla with hints of milk. Taste is really sweet. It’s vanilla, milk, chocolate, slightly roasted and some coffee, medium bitterness (which is more coffe-ish rather than hoppy). Creamy texture, carbonation is just perfect for this one in my opinion. Really impressive sweet stout and another great beer from Mikkeller.
