3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Marduk (1329) - Tallinn, - DEC 3, 2012330ml bottle. Pitch black color, medium tan head, looks nice. Heavy roast (could say ashy even), tobacco in aroma. Sweet, ashy, roasted malts in flavor. Bit too much carbonation overshadows milky smoothness.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 kmweaver (3151) - Petaluma, California, USA - JUN 15, 2013
12oz bottle, purchased at BeerCraft. Pours a deep, chocolate-black color; medium-brown head with plenty of volume and lacing that isn’t going anywhere. Restrained sweetness in the nose, showing milk chocolate, roast, and a rounded almond-like nuttiness; a touch fleeting overall. A solid impact of milk and dark chocolate on the palate, followed by roast, a rounded nuttiness, and touches of cola and an undefined bitterness; medium-full body and medium CO2; a touch overly full and heavy on the palate, with that excess of roast and a bit of bitterness combining to give a touch of astringency overall; generous for a sweet stout, but at the expensive of drinkability to a degree.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 RasmusOtt (876) - Aalborg, DENMARK - JUN 10, 2013
Pours dark brown to black with a bright brown head. Aroma of milk chocolate, sweeter lactocreamyness and some sweet oats. A bit "darker" in the smell than your usual sweet stout. Taste has soft milk chocolate, some coffee, dark malts and some sweet oat which bring the beer a lot of smoothness.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 AshtonMcCobb (1490) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 8, 2013
33cl thanks to allmyvinyl. Opaque black big creamy fawn head. Nose of dark chocolate digestive biscuits and something smoky. The taste has lots of charcoal and liquorice on the taste. The palate is medium bodied with a long dry texture that continues through to the finish which is very long Very good but not creamy and sweet as I expected. More like a dry stout in fact.
