On draft. It pours a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma is nice toasty malt and sweet cocoa. The flavor has more sweet cocoa and vanilla up front with good spicy, floral hops in the finish that come across almost like eucalyptus wood. Maybe it’s in the play with the roasted malt… this is definitely sweet yet satisfying. Low in carbonation with a full body and a tad ashy in the aftertaste. Loved it.

12oz bottle, purchased at BeerCraft. Pours a deep, chocolate-black color; medium-brown head with plenty of volume and lacing that isn’t going anywhere. Restrained sweetness in the nose, showing milk chocolate, roast, and a rounded almond-like nuttiness; a touch fleeting overall. A solid impact of milk and dark chocolate on the palate, followed by roast, a rounded nuttiness, and touches of cola and an undefined bitterness; medium-full body and medium CO2; a touch overly full and heavy on the palate, with that excess of roast and a bit of bitterness combining to give a touch of astringency overall; generous for a sweet stout, but at the expensive of drinkability to a degree.

Bottle @ Hj Hansen, Odense. Pours black with a creamy beige head and lacings. Mild roast, chocolate, oat and dark fruit. Creamy and silky smooth. Dry bitter finish. Quality!

Bottle @ Christers. Pours black with a light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, lactose. Flavor is malts, rather bitter coffee, chocolate, lactose. Medium body, soft carbonation, light bitter finish. 100613

33cl bottle. Medium beige head atop cola black body, nice lacing. Aroma is moderately sweet, coffee, some milk chocolate, light brown sugar. Taste is moderately sweet, chococoffee, some roast, cream, light earthy/grapefruit. Light-medium body, light stickiness.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Almost black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. 100613

Bottle. Very dark brown with big light brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, caramel and lacto. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, medium sweet, caramel, lacto and a little bitter.

Bottle. Pours nearly black with a generous brown head. Smells of chocolates and burnt wood. Taste is deep chocolate with a lot of alcohol.

Pours dark brown to black with a bright brown head. Aroma of milk chocolate, sweeter lactocreamyness and some sweet oats. A bit "darker" in the smell than your usual sweet stout. Taste has soft milk chocolate, some coffee, dark malts and some sweet oat which bring the beer a lot of smoothness.
