3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
The aroma is full of coffee, a hint of vanilla and milk chocolate. It pours a deep black color with billowing tan head. Up front the flavor is bitter like coffee but is folowed by some milky sweetness. The body is very big, filling and thick and has some lingering bitterness. Overall a bit strong and bitter for a milk stout where I expect something sweeter but nothing from mikkeller is quite what you expect.

Rather black appearance with loads of foamy head. Tastes of coffee, bread, caramel, chocolate, milk and candy sugar. Medium-light body, somewhat aggressive carbonation and a finish of sweet chocolate. Sweet and good enough

Tap @ Keller, Tartu. pours black with medium brown head. Aroma is caramel, cream, some toasted bread, some kind boo, old wet hay, black bread. Taste is creamy, light, black bread and sugar, light bitterness, hops, grass, sweet milk coffee. After taste has some raw sugar and bitterness. Good, but one glass is enough sweet milk coffee for me.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
The beer has a beautiful appearance. It had the perfect stout looks. The color of the beer is a beautiful black on the naked eye. A perfect layer of soft dark almond foam pours on top of the beer. A firm drape of the foam remains on top of the beer for quite long. The beer is so dark, I can hardly look trough it. I don’t know if it is clear or cloudy. Maybe the beer has a little ruby red touch to it. The smell of the beer is delicious. I smell a delicious dark bitter roast aroma. I love those roasted malts. De dark burnt bitterness is balanced out by a nice licorice sweetness. The roast aroma is perfect. It is not to bitter and just strong enough. It is quite an interesting smell. There is also a nice creamy touch to the smell. The taste is very nice. It has the same delicious bitter mouth filling bitter roast flavor as the smell. It is one of the best roasts I know, just the amount of bitterness and flavor. The beer is a little to sweet for my taste. The delicious roasty bitterness is flushed away by a strong soft sweet fruity sweetness, with some syrup tones that are just a bit out of balance. After the sweetness had settled a bit the delicious bitter roast flavor fills the mouth again. The finish consist mainly of this bitterness with a creamy touch to it. All in all, a lovely stout but just to sweet.
