Papsoe (25088) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 13, 2012
Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy orangey brown with an off-white head. Heavy glue aroma, somewhat acetic with hardly any notes of the Bourbon. Medium body, sweet caramel and overripe fruit with a little Bourbon coming through now. But still these horrible glue notes. Same as with the Raspberry edition, really spoiled by the barrel here. 130612

Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Sour wet wood and emulsion paint nose. Not great! Smooth palate, airy with mild carbonation. Milky bourbon, trace of sourness. Whisper of paint. Soft semi dry finish. Okay, a bit clunky.

This appeared in my bag from the day trip to Wolverhampton so I guess this is from BlackHaddock, thanks Jeremy if this came from you. Oxidised aroma. Some malt. But really very oxidised to the extent of being almost undrinkable. Nasty. Sorry, this is a drain pour.
