3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 375cl. It pours a dark brown body and a small, off-white to beige head. Lots of raspberry on the nose, with some notes of wine. Some dried fruits, caramel hints and alcohol. Medium to full-bodied, soft and smooth, lightly warming. As the aroma, the flavor is dominated by raspberries, with wine being the second most evident flavor. Some maltyness. Well, not bad, but there’s too much raspberry here. 121019

Pours a unique dark brown with a maroonish hue. Medium tan head. Aroma is a cross between rasberry, oak, and a cabernet. Medium bodied with a big fruity berry flavor. Definitely rasberry. Finish is surprisingly dry.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled at Big Beers and Barley Wines. I kinda missed the raspberries here I think. I got lots of bread dough and red wine though. Fine.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a deep rich ruby brown umber color with a fluffy three plus finger foam cap that sits and floats.... aromas are sweet tart raspberry, light chocolate a bit of oaky earthiness and a bit of malbec grape.... On the palate its a big complex beer with great underlying fruit; raspberry, cherry, juicy red wine and a good dose of earthy wet wooden notes to add some beef and complexity to the beer. Great mouthfeel with a good dose of carbonation to brighten all the flavors. Really impressed and glad I have one to set aside for a while because Im curious if the quad flavors will shine more as the sweetness fades... YUM !

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to snifter. Looks good for a quad; a murky brown with thin beige lacing. Smells good too; candied dark fruit and raspberries. Tastes like it smells, but not quite as good. Average on the palate. Good, but not for the price/oz.
