Bottle pours a medium brown with a beautiful fluffy beige head. Interesting aroma of wine, raspberries and dark fruits. Taste initially sweet grape Jolly Ranchers but after a couple of sips became an awful sour berry/wine vinegar mess. Palate thick and full. Finish sour.

I don’t think this was infected, it was just bad. Palate, aroma and appearance all top notch but the flavor just didn’t match up. I drain poured half of it.

This beer had some serious potential, but everything was just cranked up too high. Too much alcohol, too many raspberries, oxidation and tannin-like flavors. I tasted NO hint of a quad at all. I honesty couldn’t see a "good" bottle tasting much better, but if it’s just a case of hit or miss... This one is a miss. Thanks for sharing OmegaX - it certainly was an interesting beer nonetheless.

Hmmm...I’m not sure what happened with this one. Nose is big, syrupy sweet raspberry and fruity esters. Dark molasses in the mix too. Pour is nice, with a dark, almost black body and an off-white head. Taste is cloyingly sweet super infused raspberry and some black strap molasses and cane syrup. Not pleasing at all. Way too sweet. Way too fruity. No balance or beer-like flavor at all. I wanted to like this but couldn’t.

Bottle @Linköping Beer Expo 2013. Aroma with loads of fresh raspberries, fruit acid, raspberry jam. Tastes of freshly picked and sugared mature raspberries, lovely. Finish is long and woody with wine- and raspberry notes.

12.7 oz bottle. Pours a murky, dark red brown with two fingers of coarse pinkish tan head. Decent retention and essentially no lacing. Aroma is vinous, alcohol, grape, oak, rum fruit. Flavor is vinous and oaky up front, finishes raspberry, grape, vinous, and mild alcohol. I enjoy the wine and raspberry character, but together they almost give an over the top, syrup taste. Moderate carbonation, medium body, and mildly astringent finish. A very good, unique, and interesting beer, though for that price I probably won’t get to have it again.

Biege block head dark pour soft carbonation aromas too strong the raspberry some dark fruit alcohol port brown sugar flavours it is somewhat extreme the raspberry and the red and white wine is even wiped out the tastes become uninteresting the finish tacky raspberry overdone really spoilt a good ale

MiP (13774) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAR 9, 2013
Bottle, 10%. Boozy and jammy aroma, blackcurrant, Ribena, alcohol, paint thinner, rather complex actually. Very dark brown colour, seems quite cloudy. Big semi-stable light brown head. The flavour also has a lot of berry, like a good Ribena, vodka mixture. Very refreshing, but a bit high ABV for a refreshing beer, in my opinion.

Bottle. Pours cloudy dark brown with airy but stable light tan head. Complex aroma of malt, caramel, flowers, spices, and raspberries. Sourish, beerylike flavour, interspersed with malty and roasty notes with boozy ballast. Intense, difficult to grasp, but good.

Bottle. Opaque deep brown liquid with small to medium light tan head. Aroma of raspberries, acetone, wine, wood, dark fruit, bubblegum and toffee. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of raspberries, toffee and wood. Medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Nice but too many high alcohols.
