Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 13, 2012
Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy opaque brown with an orange hue and a lacing beige head. Tart, acetic, woody nose with some raspberry shining through. Medium body, a dry, tart fruitiness, rustic and fusty. Again the raspberries are there but so is a very unfortunate acetic edge. Ends dry. Nothing much is left of the original bere here, this time the barrel almost ruined it. 130612

MiP (12172) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAR 9, 2013
Bottle, 10%. Boozy and jammy aroma, blackcurrant, Ribena, alcohol, paint thinner, rather complex actually. Very dark brown colour, seems quite cloudy. Big semi-stable light brown head. The flavour also has a lot of berry, like a good Ribena, vodka mixture. Very refreshing, but a bit high ABV for a refreshing beer, in my opinion.

Fruity, rotten fruity aroma, wooden notes, light glue, raspberries, wine, light minerals, phenolic eastery aroma, sweetness, sharpness, brown sugar, caramel, ryebread, light alcoholic sharpness, tartness, ligh avid notes. I don’t like the aroma, but the taste and aftertaste is nice.
