Dark brown pour with a small fizzy beige head. Aroma was heavy on the raspberry with notes of chocolate and a light roast character. Bits of oak. Flavors were intense. Lots of raspberry, bits of cocoa, oak and white wine. Syrupy mouthfeel. Tons of raspberry in this one, kinda grew on me as I drank it. Not bad.

From 0.375l bottle. BBD: 23/04/18. Pours murky brown liquid, contains medium to big particles. Small creamy tan to brown tan head. Aroma: raspberries, red wine with lots of tanine, malt, nice. Taste: medium sweet, light bitter, medium sour, red wine, strong tanine, raspberries, maltiness, minor coffee notes, medium bitter finish. Palate: full body, oily texture, soft carbonation, long tanine aftertaste. Overall: Very nice piece, harmonious, but could have less tanine and more other flavors.

Strong raspberry nose. Dark murky appearance. Heavy wine notes, very tannic. Tastes like a quad sour, if you will.

Bottle pour. Rich brown with beige head. Some webbing. Lovely. Raspberry and cork on nose. Some fruitcake. Warm. Full body. Taste starts tart, but tends towards the sweet. Some cherry syrup on finish. Hint of vanilla. Juicy. Dry finish.

375 ml bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a somewhat murky brown with a velvety head of khaki colored foam. The aroma has notes of slightly unripe raspberries, dry and earthy wine, kinda reminds me of the ports I’ve tried. Taste reminds me of a really dry wine. I get a bit of alcohol spice. Some burn on the back of the throat. Moderate carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a deep dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet raspberry, wine, wood and fruit. Flavor of fresh tart raspberry, wood, red wine, dark fruit, subtle caramel and some vinous notes. Medium-plus body, soft carbonation, dry and tart finish.

Garrold (1115) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2014
Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Cloudy, thick, dark brown. White, dessert wine. Red, dessert wine, like black muscat. Add to that a hint of dark chocolate, and you’re still nowhere near. Taste is sour. Dry. Light bitter. It’s like a liqueur gone wrong. Definitely muscat barrels, though. I’d put a pound on it...

Hansen (6471) - Assentoft, DENMARK - MAY 5, 2014
Dark brown with an off-white head, medium duration. Acidic aroma, notes of raspberries. Odd flavor, heavy acidic, rapsberries, light bitter finish, unharmonic, like medium beer that has been in too many barrels and so on.
