Bottle @ ACBF 2011. Dark amber coloured. Unclear. Dense light brown head. Aroma of souerness, grape, vanilla, ripe fruits and vague caramel. Flavour as well is full of sourness. Has ripe fruits, caramel, vague yeast and some vanilla. Medium to full bodied. Ends on a grapy sourness with notes of fruits. Very nice.

Dark brown color, beige head. Don’t like the smell at all, too sour. Very nice body. Taste has a nice balanced sourness, but just not my taste.

mcberko (8695) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 25, 2013
375mL bottle, pours a murky dark amber brown with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out red wine barrels, noticeable brett, some dark fruits and a little candied sugar. Flavour brings out brett and red wine barrels upfront, caramel malts, and dark fruits. The brett gives it quite a wild character that surprisingly works well with the vinous and typically quad notes. Great stuff.

Scopey (8471) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 11, 2013
Bottle at home. It pours murky deep brown with a medium beige head. The nose is musty, earth, mouldy wood, ripe cheese, sulphur, HP sauce, vinous and tangy green apple. The taste is earth, brett, oak, tangy fruit, vinous, berry, spice, alcohol warmth, brown sugar, raisin and date with a very dry, earthy finish. Full body, moderate carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Smells pretty nasty...tastes better though. Interesting for sure, but not something I would return to.

Bouteille @ ACBF 2011.

Camons (7370) - Hasselager, DENMARK - MAY 14, 2011
Bottle @ Home. Pours dark reddish brown with a small creamy tan head, good lacings. Aroma of redvine, sour cherries, oak, brown sugar. Taste is sweet and sour cherries, wood, oak, candy, brown sugar, brett. Thin to medium body, soft lively carbonation. Very complex beer, vinery , oak aged and the original quad mixing up exceltly. 140511
