3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Palme (2252) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 3, 2011
0.375l bottle from BrewDog web shop. This one pours a dark hazy brown body with a small light sidesticking and light brown head. The aroma has some light sour and tart notes with lots of wood, some nuts, red fruits, it’s vinious and has hints of both chocolate, caramel and cocoa. Average to lively carbonation, medium to full-bodied and it has a smooth and quite gentle oily mouthfeel. Flavors are much the same as the aroma; wood, acidic almost vinegar-acidic tones with some caramel, dried red fruits and it’s quite vinious. Ends warming with a nice little alcohol burn - almost heart burning actually - int the aftertaste. Extremely light drinkable and quite nice stuff! Need to try some more of this if I get the chance.

Sampled from bottle at Borefts Beer Festival @ De Molen, Bodegraven. Nice color when held into the light: dark brown with a dark red glow coming through. Smell sour and lightly vinegar. Taste sour but soft. Nice carbonation, medium body.
