3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Scopey (3380) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 11, 2013
Bottle at home. It pours murky deep brown with a medium beige head. The nose is musty, earth, mouldy wood, ripe cheese, sulphur, HP sauce, vinous and tangy green apple. The taste is earth, brett, oak, tangy fruit, vinous, berry, spice, alcohol warmth, brown sugar, raisin and date with a very dry, earthy finish. Full body, moderate carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Smells pretty nasty...tastes better though. Interesting for sure, but not something I would return to.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 mcberko (4145) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 25, 2013
375mL bottle, pours a murky dark amber brown with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out red wine barrels, noticeable brett, some dark fruits and a little candied sugar. Flavour brings out brett and red wine barrels upfront, caramel malts, and dark fruits. The brett gives it quite a wild character that surprisingly works well with the vinous and typically quad notes. Great stuff.
3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 delnoche (416) - GERMANY - APR 24, 2013
12.7fl oz bottle poured into a Westmalle Trappist glass. Dark ruby/brown with fizzy tan head. Aroma is barnyard and slight candy sugar but later became red wine. Flavor is red wine, candy, copper. Rather sour due to the Brett. Medium carbonation, full body. Sour finish with a slight alcohol burn. Interesting beer, though not something I’d pick up again.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 stefannilssons (869) - SWEDEN - OCT 24, 2012
Det här var en intressant öl med mycket smak av syra, fruktighet och smaken i sig är väldigt dov. Kroppen på ölen var bra och balansen likaså.

330mL bottle to tasting glass
Aroma of molasses, cherries, raisins, and hay. The colour is reddish brown and there's a very thin off white almost tan head. The taste is tart with sweetness and a bit of coffee bitterness. It has a medium body with a creamy and oily texture.
