Not much of an aroma, slightly sweet and a little yeasty. The flavor was hard to pin down as well, a little bready sweet with dark fruits. Ok beer. joss (3654), Garching b. München, Germany

There really wasn’t anything that special about it, except that it was Mikkeller. Poured like cola with thin, white bubbles. Aroma had some chocolate and banana peel. Flavor had a woody dryness and chocolate. Tinge of coffee, but thin. Finished a bit boozy but not offensive. Again, really just ’’meh’’. bhensonb (4245), Woodland, California, USA

Hazy dark garnet color with a decent creamy beige head. Aromas of softly roasted malt and berries. Flavors of lightly roasted malt, fresh red berries and touches of chocolate and coffee. It’s very laid back and delicious. Goes down incredibly well. Though quite different it has been reminding me of Westvleteren - and I just noticed this is a quad. So I am learning. Perhaps there’s some slight chalkiness; not sure. austone (1039), Turku; Pori, Finland

Fruity, berryish flavor, little cocoa and syrupy malts. Medium to full bodied, smooth carbonation. Maybe even too easy to drink. aplusbreaks (330), , Colorado, USA
