Bottle @ Chrisoís Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. The pourís gold with a small head. The nose is orange peel. Bright funky citrus. Herb garden. The taste is more citrus. Mild pine bitterness. Cantaloupe dessert. Nice sweet/bitter balance. Medium body, fine carbonation. Very enjoyable.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
33 cl flaske med en IPA med megen citrus og blomstersmag fra humlen. God efterfølende bitterhed. Man fornemmer ikke at den holder hele 8,9 %. Virkelig vellykket humlesammensætning.

Bottle. BBE 04/07/15. Pours a light orange with a small, white head. Aroma is very fruity. Passionfruit, mango, orange, mandarin, satsuma, blood grapefruit, fresh grapefruit, you name it. Taste is semi-sweet, quite resinous, very piney, a lot of conifer. Pithy. Some caramel. Fruitiness in the background. You can feel the heat of the alcohol, but it doesnít come through in the taste. Aftertaste is very resinous and fruity. Quite a lot of carbonation, could do with a little less. Quite stiff and full. Drinkability is superb though.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and light pine aroma with light earth. Grapefruit and light earth flavor with light dustiness. Medium good bodied. Grapefruti and light dust lingers with light pine. Like a lot of mosaic, missing juiciness.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
500mL bottle, pours a hazy orange with a large slightly off-white head. Aroma o pungent tropical fruits, especially grapefruit, kiwi, and citrus zest - quite a bit of citrus hops as well. Flavour is very similar, bringing out loads of grapefruit, kiwi, citrus zest and citrus hops in fairy equal proportion - maybe the kiwi is most upfront. Extremely fruity, with the kiwi upfront, finishing with citrus hops and notable astringency. Highly drinkable, with a dry, bitter palate. Excellent stuff.

16.9oz bottle, shared with Taylor. Mostly clear golden orange color. Thin bubbly off-white head. Good spread of dotty lace. Bigger body. Smooth, crisp carbonation. Lightly slick finish, kind of a creamy texture. Good piney, kind of citrusy hop. Earthy and spicy. Some caramel malt, biscuit. Moderate sweet taste, big bitterness, light alcohol heat in the finish. Good, sharp, bitter hoppy DIPA. Kind of sharp and biting, but enjoyably, assertively hoppy, still.
