3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAR 7, 2015 750 bottle in a snifter. Pours golden with a lacy head. Aroma of the wine, some floral and lightly citrus hops, and caramel malts. Flavor the same. Average texture. A good beer for the style. Bottle purchased at HF in 2015. Tastes better than I remember.

Sample at Jungle Jim’s Barrel Aged Tasting, from a bottle. Clear golden orange color. Little white head. Decent lace. Nice citrusy brett nose. Good soft carbonation. Medium body. More dry texture, light belgian funk. Citrus hops. Good zesty, sweet taste. Hint of baked apple. Very tasty.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2013 Bottle @ Il pretesto. It pours golden orange with a tiny white head on top. Very fruity with orange hints... and then there it is the sour! But never covering the global complexity. A great beer!!

Great fruity aroma. Slightly sour and fruity taste. A great replacement for champagne.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle (750 ml). Hazy orange with a huge creamy/foamy mostly lasting off-white head and intense lacing. Aroma is winey with brettanomyces, wood, grape, fruits, belgian yeast and hops. Taste is also winey with fruits, brett, grapes, wood, malt and slight sourness. Slight bitterness. Mouthfeel is smooth and winey. Alcohol is completely hidden. This beer is fresh, complex, drinkable and truly enjoyable! Awesome beer!

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Ridiculous beer. As in ridiculously good. Pours like a champagne, but is a burnt orange colour. Rapidly dimishing head. Bready, sour, sweet aroma. Taste is nelson, then sour, then sweet grape. Is this a beer?
Finish is bitter sweet.
I’ve had nothing like this before. Could almost be a dessert wine. I’m not a fan of Austrian or German wines, but this is just spot on. Would live them to do the same beer, but with dry New Zealand barrels.
Totally out there.

@ S.Brevinga Alus Salons. Very interesting beer. First, pleasant aroma of Nelson Sauvin, but you can’t feel a lot of hops in taste as well as 9ABV of alcohol, nice sourness and wine notes.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared by Thorpe429. Thanks Mike.
The beer is a honey orange color and has a thick, fizzy white head. Lasting retention and the tulip glass is coated with lacing. The aroma brings floral and vegetable notes, reminiscent of Cantillon Mamouche. Green peppers, plants, very vegetal. Medium bodied with plenty of carbonation. Hops emerge in the finish. Complex and intriguing, this is enjoyable in small quantities.
