Aroma is quite soapy with some peppery spices and hints of citrus. Flavour is quite intensive with soapy citrus, some peppery notes, some toffee and herbal notes. Foamy palate. Decent, reminds me of Sally’s Field.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Abio (1343) - Waasland, BELGIUM - MAR 31, 2013
Light yellow coloured beer with a good head. Holds good. Soft in both smell as taste, and not bad at all but just misses that small boost for me. Mixture of sweetness at the start that goes to a good bitterness. Good spiced.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 SlackerMads (533) - DENMARK - MAR 26, 2013
Bottle. Hazy yellow with a thick white good lacing bubbly head. Aroma is skunk (not the animal), hay, dry grass, light fruity bubblegum, citrus, green tea, grain. Taste is medium sweet with little bitterness. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Finishes light dry and chronic herbal. Really nice taste and aroma, this is a good thing to drink.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 JorisPPattyn (7311) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAR 1, 2013
Threatening to gush but resigning to a good, dense, ligtlhy yellowish head over hazed orange-golden beer; lacey. Very fresh-herbal aroma, inviting. Later more warm-grainy notes, peppery-spicy. Herbal remains in the forefront, no doubt noble hops. Peppery, spicy flavour, with an acidity point from the carbonation. Faintly bananaester, but without any, even fruity, sweetness. Background has in fact lots of bitterness, going into the aftertaste. Warming up, apricot flavour. Spritzy, medium bodied - feels digestive, not watery. Objectively speaking a quite good beer; compared to the sorry beverage El Bulli managed to turn out a couple of years ago, stellar.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Bov (8204) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JAN 14, 2013
from Erzbierschof - slightly hazy golden beer under a huge creamy white foam; aroma of hemp, earth, esters and lemongrass; quite full-bodied and pretty dry; modefrate and subtle carbonation; dry and grassy hoppy aftertaste; more lemongrass and earthy notes - subtle and deeply pleasant

375 ml. green typical Mikkeller bottle – purchased @ Hopduvel. Brewed originally exclusively for Noma – allegedly the best restaurant in the world - now apparently available for retail. I previously tried Pontus before from the two Noma beers now available & was highly exited about that one, so looking forward. Cool label. Much like the previous beer this pours a perfected version of what most people would call a beer, clear beautiful radiant golden with an incredible creamy white head. Close to perfection frankly. Such a snow white & incredibly creamy head – pure perfection. Smell is sweet, very heavy on yoghurt Belgian. Sugary with light esters, floral & almost booze touch. Lots of yeast & straw. Taste is booze, very heavy yoghurt, Belgian yeast, incredibly creamy wheat, sweet, straw, floral, esters, butter (def. not in an infected way), strongly lactic but not lactic sour, like freaking milk itself (seriously so much it is crazy), light fruits & herbs. Wow, way too much for me frankly, first beer I ever had that seems to beg for food which is appropriate, I suppose. Food does seem to take it a bit, this is quite hard to drink for me. Yeasty, milk & yoghurt body, quite a bit carb. This one is a hard one to get & I need food. Ridiculous. I admire it, it fascinated me but it also appears to be fighting me & I really should have had this with a meal. Although as with all extreme flavours, you get acclimatized to it & start enjoying it. Total yellow milk in every way. Extreme.
