dreamflower (654) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - APR 20, 2014
Bottle shared with northropfrye on Easter Sunday, 2014. Smells like grassy lemon lime and tastes like the outdoors, lemon grass, a forrest and 7-UP (but not so sweet). As far as I’m concerned this beer is magical.

Someday I’d like to get to the Noma restaurant, but for now I’ll just drink the beer. Incredibly unique aroma. Lemon lime grassy herbal and floral aroma. Very interesting and vibrant. Light yellow body with white head and lacing. The taste is less strong, perhaps so it wouldn’t overpower food delicate food pairings I assume. Taste is lightly bitter and has the quality of a nice fresh tonic water or something. Quite unique.

gyllenbock (5728) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 2, 2014
Bottle bought in Copenhagen in May 2013. Clear golden with a white head. Quite a lot of spices in this one. Ginger, grass, soap and herbs. Drinkable but nothing spectacular.

@Gyllenbock: en ganska kryddig doft. Smaken är en del lenare och ganska mild. Trevlig men ingen spekatkulär sak. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!

375ml bottle, golden color, with a white head, yeasty, spicy, fruity, white wine dryness, faint pine needle, herbal flower nose, with some ginger, lemongrass notes, and a kind of agave, lemon, grapefruit peel, lemon pie accent in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity honey pale, pilsener, wheat malt, mild flowery sappy, soapy, piney, citrus hop character, with a herbal, ginger, spritzy lemongrass, pine needle spicy flavours, leading towards a yeasty, fruity, ginger, lemongrass spiciness, lingering soapy, cedary, citrus hop bitterness finish.

A bit boring and lacking of originality for me. The pour is a brilliant bright yellow with a thin dense white head. The nose is lightly spiced and crisp with wheat and clove notes. Sipping with a mild grainy sweetness and a fresh and clean wheat malt. The finish has a mild bitterness that lends well to the balance.
