4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 GMCC2181 (1424) - Newark, Delaware, USA - NOV 20, 2008
Bottle shared by robert at stateline... So good I bought a bottle home. Light hazy orange in color, big head. Good lacing. Citrus and grapefruit aroma. Super hoppy for a witbier! Still has the spices, peachy, and lemon flavor that make a witbier. Texture was a little thicker then most witbiers, but what do you expect when they bump the alcohol level. Good beer. Thanks robert for putting me on to this one

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Ungstrup (26267) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 15, 2008
Draft. Entered to celebrate my rating number 11,400. An unclear golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet wtih strong notes of oranges and wheat. The flavor is very sweet wtih strong notes of oranges and coriander, leading to a dry wehaty and spice (especially coriander) finish. The body is quite powerful.

(On tap) Pours a very cloudy pale golden with a tiny, rough, white head. Tart and fruity aroma with some yeastiness. Medium body, intens fruit and a dry and somewhat leathery bitterness. Very different but also quite nice. 120908
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Defreni (2047) - Husum, DENMARK - OCT 12, 2008
Fad. Klassisk wit bier på udseendet. Uigennemsigtig orange. Kraftigt humlet hvilket man får at vide med navnet, men det fungerer upåklageligt. I det hele taget er det en yderst farlig øl med de højere procenter, da den er yderst drikbar. Lækker øl og også fornyende på sin vis.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 thebeertourist (4271) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 9, 2008
On tap at Ørsted Ølbar, København. Cloudy peach with a small head. Hoppy and fruity nose. Delicious grapefruity hop flavours, good refreshing wheat. Well-carbonated. Great combination of potent hops and refreshing fruitiness.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Maria (9570) - Thisted, DENMARK - OCT 5, 2008
EBF2008. It’s an unclear, warm golden beer. The aroma very clearly has notes of a lot of hops and a wit bier, and it gives notes of, fruit, mostly citrus and spice and yeast. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of citrus, mostly oranges, yeast and spices. I think it was a pretty charming blend.
