2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
WTF ...... on tap ..... this is crystal clear bronze I have never seen a Wit that looks like this. Small cap to. Aroma is very mild but seems right. Wheat, big apple juice, very very mild. I do hit hops in the nose but not that much. Strange taste, apple, banana, yeast and citrus. Not sure what to think. Comes across very sweet, kind of tastes like a hangover. Perfumy alcohol ........ that is not good to find. Feel is to thin. I know this not a true Wit but still what ells can I compare it to, I’d so much rathe have a Ho or a Blach de cham. I can drink this but i think i’ll never have it again. In my opinion this is a rare miss by Mikkeller. Marks do seem to low.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Nice wheat, spice and hop aroma. Yellow and gold with a foamy head. Full and creamy palate. More of the same with a bold hop bite that mixed with the Belgian character well.

bottle from plonk. Cloudy pale amber. Sweet alcohol aroma. pineapple aroma. Little spice. Nice belgian ale but I wouldn?t call this a wit. This was about 3 months beyond its use by. maybe the spice had faded.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330 ml bottle - Dry hoppy taste somewhat detracts from an overall amazing Wit beer. I'm not sure if the combination works.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
From a 330ml bottle on 9/5/2015. Pours a murky light golden with edium head which quickly disappears. The nose is spicy, zesty and hoppy Flavour wise orange and lemon are most prominent, with lots of spiciness in the mix as well (particularly peel), finished off by some firm hops. Full bodied with average carbonation. This is a really pleasant, flavoursome brew, though it only just registers as a Belgian wit.

4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This is a truly outstanding beer. Pours a hazy coppery golden color with a rocky white head. The aroma is maybe the best attribute of this beer. It is intense, refreshing and very complex. The smell is dominated by coriander, orange peel and american hops with notes of banana, citrus and pineapple. It is refreshing and softly carbonated but creamy and mild at the same time. The taste starts sweet with orange, coriander and the wheat flavor typical for Belgian wit beers. Then comes the surprise, floral, herbal and hoppy at the back of the tongue just like an american style IPA. All these flavours are balanced perfectly.
Overall: Some people say this is the first ever Wheat IPA. Personally the are my two favourite styles and the way Mikkeller combined them made this the best beer I ever tasted.
