Aroma: orange, yuzu, robusta coffee, lactose, lemon peel; Appearance: pitch-black, vanishing frothy head; Taste: intense sourness, medium bitterness; Palate: light body, fizzy carbonation, slick texture, bitter-boozy finish I enjoyed the idea of a citric dark beer very much but the sourness is close to unpleasant (infection-like). Still the bitterness is pleasant and non-astringent.The alcoholic warmth and weak body are also disappointing. Treat it as a curiosity.

Draft @ beer temple. Special aroma of dark roasted malt, orange and some boozy sharpness. Taste is really diverse and keeps evolving, with orange, yuzu, dry gritty coffee, roasted malt and some delicious warming boozyness. Good body, hard to believe itís only 6%. Very good.

Wow, aroma is very rich, almost cgewy malts with a very sudden sour grape body that has certain funkiness and tanginess. Appearance is black with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.

On tap at Whatís Brewing. A dark brown beer with a small, dense, beige head. Unclear. The aroma has some impact from the barrel, with citrus and roasted malts. Quite vinous. Itís full to medium bodied, quite dry and soft on the palate. Roasted malts in the back of the flavor, with citrus, some vinous, almost boozy notes and a touch of coffee and bitterness. Citrus bitter finish. Sort of messy this one, but itís a fine brew anyway. 141101
