Bottle (330 ml). Split 2-ways with Minderbinder.

Appearance: Dark brown with a medium brown head and little lacing.

Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee, citrus zest / lemon, chocolate and light pine,

Taste: Chocolate and roasted malt forward with a light citric / lemon presence, light vanilla and light coffee bitterness.

Palate: Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Roasty and slightly lemony finish.

Overall: A very fun Porter to try. I was afraid the Yuzu would take too much place, but it’s really well integrated and add a nice dimension. Balanced isn’t bad considering the components. Very good!

espenra (893) - Kurland, NORWAY - JAN 19, 2015
On tap at at Cafe Sara. Pitch black colour with a minimal off-white head. Aroma is classic Porter. Lots of coffee, roasted malts, cocoa and some ash. If any citrus is present it’s very well hidden. Flavour is a bit sour or acidious but this is the citrus. Lots of coffee, cocoa, roasted malts. No alcohol to speak of. Very short aftertaste. A fun experiment but the citrus notes doesn’t work very well.

Flaske: Sortbrun øl med et stort skumhoved. Duften er let brændt med en del appelsin i duften. Smagen er frisk og god. Lækker øl.

BOLTZ7555 (2852) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JAN 14, 2015
Dark mahogany bordering espresso with a tightly packed latte foam. Chocolate, coffee, orange pith, vanilla bean, and caramel. Just not a fan of the combination of tart citrus and chocolate but this one was well crafted.

Yuzu som fan dålig kropp, maltig kaffe, men tyvärr dör ölen direkt. Ingen höjdare. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
