Iznogud (1461) - CROATIA - JUL 4, 2015
Bottle, 330 ml at Svijet Piva, Zagreb. Pours dark brown with brown head. Orange peel aroma. Dark chocolate and orange flavor. Spicy. Heavy sweet with bitterness coming afterwards. Very interesting.

HammerTroll (798) - Pula / Zagreb, CROATIA - JUL 2, 2015
Dark, brown/black color, medium sized tan head. Aroma of vanilla, cocoa and dark chocolate. Taste is insane. Begins with dark chocolate, than continues with some orange notes and when you think it’s all over, dark chocolate returns during the finish with addition of cocoa bitterness and some spices. Body is maybe too light, average to soft carbonation. All in all great. //svijet piva

slowrunner77 (6925) - Reno, Nevada, USA - JUN 24, 2015
Tap: dry roast and citrus (orange and lemon) on the nose. Taste is more caramel, but there’s some tootsie roll-ish chocolate and roast in there too.

rusos (64) - Stupava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUN 3, 2015
On tap, Urbanhouse. Dark brown/amber, almost black, beige, almost brown head. Aroma roasted coffee, caramel and fresh citrusy - orange zest, lemon.  Taste caramel and roasted tones and again, significant citrusy, zesty tones. Lemon. Some citrus sourness. Citrusy tones are going to background with rising temperature of beer.

Eructoblaster (3336) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 24, 2015
Bottle - 330ml. Pours a black, opaque body with a thin, lasting, beige foamy head. Very interesting malty/hoppy aroma with roasted coffee and subtle orange hints. Its very well balanced taste carries roasty, woody, herbal, and zesty notes. Ends with a long, robust bitter/roasty finish. Very good.

A gouter à nouveau ...

neongolden (745) - Linköping, Sweden/Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 15, 2015
(330ml bottle sample @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Apr 14 2015) Pours black with a huge pillowy tan head. Aroma of yuzu zest, orange liqueur, roast malts with a bit of chocolate, smoky. Palate has orange and some yuzu, earthy kind of smoky dark roast malt, orange rind and a little molasses towards the finish, wet earth, mushrooms on the finish?, more smoky ashy roast. Yuzu works fairly well but not convinced it’s the best style for it. Light to medium body with high carb. Not bad but doesn’t quite connect for me. Big yuzu fan so that bumps it a notch.
