UPDATED: FEB 22, 2013 Bottled. Pours nearly black with a medium sized tan head, leaving a good lacing. Nose of roasted malt, coffe, chocolate, mandarin ond citrus zest. Sweet flavor that ends up dry with a light bitternees. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft to flat CO2. A nice and interesting special porter. ★★★★

Bottle @ home shared by Thompson. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized beige to light brown head. Aroma is indeed a mix of dark malt, oranges and citrus. Flavor has it too! Malts, dark malts, oranges, light fruitpeel, I guess there must be yuzu in there and the finish is pretty bitter, dark malt bitter and fruitpeel bitter. Interesting!

Pitch black with pretty big beige head which adds nice lacing to the glass. Aroma is mix of pretty strong orange, grapefruit notes with chocolate, coffee, roasty bits- overall impression reminds kind of black ipa vibe (citrusy hops with coffee/chocolate/roastiness). In taste big on orange, lemon, grapefruit with some chocolate, coffee and roasty undertones. It ends with ashy, zesty bite on the tongue. Medicore bitterness and medium carbonation. Nice, fresh, easy. I like it.

I’m not a real big porter fan, but this one surprised with it’s fresh taste and liquorice scent.

(Mikkeller Orange Yuzu Glad I Said Porter) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 6% Totally black colour on the body, big and ever rising dark beige head, thick, with very good retention. Aroma of roasted malts, olive pit, oats, liquorice. Taste follows, roasted malts, liquorice, oats, milky chocolate, light coal on the finish, I don’t get much of the added orange. Medium thick body, soft carbonation. Very good but I’d like the orange to be less muted.
