I’m not a real big porter fan, but this one surprised with it’s fresh taste and liquorice scent.

(Mikkeller Orange Yuzu Glad I Said Porter) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 6% Totally black colour on the body, big and ever rising dark beige head, thick, with very good retention. Aroma of roasted malts, olive pit, oats, liquorice. Taste follows, roasted malts, liquorice, oats, milky chocolate, light coal on the finish, I don’t get much of the added orange. Medium thick body, soft carbonation. Very good but I’d like the orange to be less muted.

backlog. draft. Dark with a an off colour brown head. Loads of yuzu in the aroma, slight hint of dark chocolates. Slightly bitter finish with loads of zest notes. On the verge of being too much, but only just. Nice though
