Bottled. Hazy pale amber, mid sized head. Generous grapefruit and lychee aroma. Mid dry with light-medium body and clean mouthfeel. Citrus that turns into seriously resiny bitterness. Pleasant surface, lacking content.

Very cloudy, burnt orange 1 finger tight bubbles. The nose is band-aid and plastic forward with wheat husk and some latex. Flavor is pretty weak. Very nice mouthfeel, some faint clove and garlic. strange plastic taste as well. Not a fan.

1st beer at the 22 Tap Takeover at Galloper des jahres, Hamburg on12th Dec 2014. Pleasant surprise, as we did not know the event was on until we walked through the door! Anyway back to this beer: Light amber in colour with a smell off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits and biscuit maltiness, so a fairly sweet nose. The taste is also on the sweet side with the biscuity malts leading the way and the fruits as an undertone. Mild spiciness arrives towards the end of each sip which finishes with a dry bite. Great start to a lovely early even session of unusual and interesting taps.

Hazy golden beer, medium off-white head. Nose is grassy, fruity, citric notes, malt. Flavor is malts, fruit, dry notes and citrus, straw. Firmly hoppy and bitter finish. Soft carbonation, dry to oily mouthfeel. Not bad, but somehow lacks character.

Aroma: Smelling of bread, grape-fruit, pine and yeast.
Appearance: A hazy straw colored beer. A high white head with good lacing and some curtains.
Taste: Tasting bread, grape-fruit marmalade and peel.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a soft texture. A medium body with a dry finish.
Overall: A grape-fruit pine smoothie.
Note: Bottle 330 ml at home. #18 in Mikkeller’s Xmas box. Reviewed 2014-12-17.

Shared with wim and benny at bierfestival dijleschuimers 2014 leuven. Blond colored beer with small white head and no carbonation visible. Hopped fruited aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is bitter sweet.

Kita (1197) - Koper, SLOVENIA - DEC 12, 2014
Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy pale amber color with large soapy off-white head and flat visible carbonation. Aroma of passion fruit, peach, mango and biscuit malt. Taste starts with moderate sweet biscuit malt, follows refreshing fruity with spicy and a bit dry mouthfeel, while finish is heavy bitter. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. That’s ale, folks :)

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Cloudy amber coloured with tropical fruit and sweet orange flavours followed by a smooth, creamy zesty citrus and pine finish. Excellent again for a low-ish ABV beer.
