Bottle, thanks Ungstrup. Quite hoppy, lots of hop acidity/bitterness. Lychee and grapefruit comes through in the flavour, as well as some lightly sweet caramelly malts. A little overly acidic i thought, and the hops tasted quite green.

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy amber golden with a small, creamy head. Very fresh, citrusy nose - pure grapefruit juice. Comes in a medium body with a lightly sweet malt base and then balanced by these extremely fruity citrus accents. Subdued hop bitterness. Very refreshing and quaffable. 260806

Hazy dark orange color, small white head. IPA like American hoppy nose, flowery, intensive. Flowery hoppy, good malty base - very American but not Pale Ale, more like IPA with soft malt profile.

Bottle from my secret santa. Pours amber with a foamy and fizzy off-white head, some lined lacing, mostly lasting head. Aroma is pine and citrus rind, flesh hop, caramel malt (biscuit, meal) and yeast (sweat). Moderately bitterness, biting and dry acidity, lightly sweet citrus hop flavor, burning pine hops, malt in background. Medium bodied, fizzy and spicy, slightly dry palate.

Thanks to Ungstrup for this one at GBBF. A hazy brown coloured beer with a nice whitish head. The aroma has very good hop levels with maybe some strawberry dominating the fruitiness. The taste is nice and hoppy also. There are more berry fruit notes which tended to dominate the hops making it feel like an APA/Belgian Ale hybrid. Tasty.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 harrisoni (10950) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 8, 2006
Bottle at GBBF 2006. Thanks Ungstrup. Hazy amber colour with lasting cream head. Aroma is fantastic. American hops are lovely, grassy grapefruit. Don’t think that I would never tire of this. Heaven in the mouth, sherberty, sweet hops on finish. Stunning. Maybe just errs a little on being too sherberty
