Rich dark brown with tan head and nice pointillist lacing. Nice rounded choco malt aroma, bit of booze. Gorgeous on the palate, bit of carbonation sizzling the rich and earthy taste onto the tongue. Top drawer porter, slightly heavy on the boozy finish.

Black pour with a thin, frothy off white head. Big chocolatey aroma with notes of sweet fruit, heavy roast, light coffee, touch of vanilla and some booze. Flavors were roasty, lots of chocolate, hint of licorice and sweet fruits. Velvety mouthfeel. Top notch, one of if not the best in its style.

Dark black with mocha bubbly head and nice lacing. Aroma of bubblegum, roasted malts, chocolate, the dirt surrounding strawberry patches. Taste is quite roasted, coffee, dark chocolate, but with a nice fruity milk chocolate element as well. Awesome porter.

Bottle. Pours dark brown black with a large foamy sudsy khaki head that slowly settles to a foamy film and subtle lacing. Aroma has bitterness and yeast with malt all around. Taste is roasted malt little coffee flavor and chocolate as well with a nice bitterness of hops that are piny and a little fruity with hidden peat/smoke in the background. Palate is medium and chalky with a dry finish.

I dig this beer. So interesting for a porter, although I suppose I should expect nothing less from Mikkeller. Pours black with off white head. Strong aromas of chocolate, cream soda, and vanilla. Strawberries too. Sweet fruity flavours, more of that cream soda taste, with a roasted malt finish. Unique, and delicious.
