Nov 23, 2009 Bottle. Huge head with excellent duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich hops, flowers, citrus, orange and malt. Very good balance and very refreshing, yet still bitter.

You never really now what will hit you with a Mikkeller brew in the glass, so let’s see what kind of X-mas brew this is.
Golden with nice almost white head. Pretty light coloured for an X-mas brew.
Lovely hoppy flowery aroma.
Grape fruit, actually very fruity with oranges. Very long creamy aftertaste.
Very good IPA on the sweet side.
If there is anything X-mas like in this one, it is the nice haystack-like hoppy note together with the orange taste.
Nice beer.

Nov 12, 2009 Draft. A hazy amber beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is very fruity leaning on being over ripe, as well some malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruit, spices, malt, yeast, and caramel, making it very Belgian. The finish is dry and sweet. Nice.

Nov 12, 2009 Draught at ØLbaren - ØJ-dag. Clear amber - white head. Aroma: Rhubarb, sweetness, white sugar, candy, yeasty, baking yeast (ingen vandbehandling - kalk). Taste: Candy, nice medium hoppy, sweetnes, yeasty, flowery, spicy, herbal, carrot, green apples, grape fruits, pine. Nice bitterness. A bit strange.

Nov 8, 2009 On tap at Ølbaren. Pours a clearish amber with an off-white ehad. Medium sweetness. Hoppy aromas with hints of plant sap. Hints of perfume. Full flavored, dominated by hops. Kinda sugary. Medium to full bodied. Sweet and somewhat dry finish.
