Magnum bottle. Almost clear red liquid with huge off-white head. Aroma of fresh hops, orange peel, spices, wheat, light caramel and bread. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of caramel, toffee, fresh hops and orange peel. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Quite nice.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 KajII (711) - Macon, North Carolina, USA - FEB 6, 2013
1500ml Bottle. The pour was a clear copper brown with a huge (3-4 fingers) cream colored fluffy head that had great retention and lasted throughout, reducing finally to a large cap with excellent sticky runny lacing.
The aroma was of a biscuit malt, pine hops and a sweaty yeast with notes of caramel, citrus (grapefruit and orange peel), corriander and a touch of clove.
The taste was a bitter malty with a mild caramel sweetness and a hint of citrus from the beginning, the finish on the other hand became rather hoppy with a slight citrus peel bitterness and a bit of spice towards the end. The flavor lasted a good long duration following the swallow, with a bitter hoppy and a spicy sweet taste left behind to linger on the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was a step or two past light in body with a mildly dry texture and a medium carbonation.
Overall this was an interesting brew for sure. Even though I really did not get much of the Witbier yeast flavor coming through, I did notice the slightly spicy citrusy flavor. But the Red Ale in this hybrid most definitely is the most dominant of the two...
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jmikolich (1138) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - FEB 5, 2013
Tap at Lizardville, RR almost too much going on in this beer, with the orange and hop fighting for who is dominant, lack of coriander and full body that I expect from a wit

Clear red orange beer, big creamy off-white to yellow head, stable, bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, exotic passion fruits, pineapple, bit piny, citrus, floral touch. MF: good carbon, medium to full body. Taste: citrus, bit piny, floral, exotic sweet fruits, some passion fruit, bit cheesy. Aftertaste: citrus, piny bitterness, bit soapy, cheesy, dry bitter ending. Very good, but did not detect anything witbier-like in this beer...
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Brandman (1456) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 30, 2013
Redish amber hazy body, white head. Very strong resiny hops and caramel in aroma. Flavour has intensive harsh hoppiness. Flavour is quite short. Drops after first hops. And this has nothing to do with wit. Belgian strong ale should be better category.

Pours reddish with a thin wispy off-white head. Notes of thick caramel, resinous hops, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Medium to heavy bodied with lively carbonation.

Bottle from Alko, Tornio. Hazy amber looks, big white head, nice! Strong fruity and aromatic hoppy aroma. Taste is quite bitter and a bit sweet at the same time. Body is medium/full, a notch more and it would be perfect. Another strongly hopped treat from the Mikkeller boys.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Cirrhosis (1085) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 19, 2013
Brown amber with a hit of ruby ............. nice cap. Hoppy with hit of spice, hints of feet, not a bad aroma. Dont hit ant wit elements the hops are just obliterating it. Taste is same but more better.... words are good. Wheat I can taste now kind of a banana but so many hops, hops, hops hops. Floral and nondiscript citrus. Tanks Jeff.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 JEK69 (374) - FRANCE - JAN 17, 2013
Draft at "Les Fleurs du Malt - Le Bar". One week ago.
No idea what colour was (too dark in the pub), probably dark amber with reddish highlights.
Aromas were really fantastic and taste was delicious.
Blossom, orange peel, dill and toffee.
The best Wit-beer I have ever drunk.
Fantastic brew.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 fantti (465) - FINLAND - JAN 15, 2013
Suutuntuma muuten on jopa hieman kuiva, vaikka maku onkin makea. Kaiken kaikkiaan tähän on laitettu sammiollinen jenkkihumalaa ja rekka-autollinen appelsiinin kuorta, mutta ehkäpä juuri näiden vuoksi maku on hieman kitkerä. Pieni pettymys, valitettavasti.
