Magnum. Poured honeyed golden with a huge, fluffy cap of white head.. sticky lacing. The aroma picked up spicy cinnamon, cloves, and white pepper over fruity and honey malts.. a little soapy and floral hop character.. good stuff. The flavor had a very dry base of honey and pale malts.. cloves, coriander, and peppery yeast laced throughout, and they were prickly around the tongue.. moderate-plus cat pee and floral bitterness.. dry, spicy, fairly bitter finish. Medium-bodied and very well carbonated on the palate.. the hops ended up being the most interesting part of the brew.. very good stuff.

Nice, stable, cream-coloured head over hazed red-amber beer. Nice C-hops, USA to the fore, some ureum, smelling somehow sticky, if that makes sense. More C-hops, but balanced by some nice cakey sugars. Ends on fruity notes, as nectarine and grapefruit. Spritzy, to near-fizzy, and yet full-bodied, yet the texture seems light. Superb beer, very much in the American style, and I can find very litte witbier character, here.

Magnum bottle at Cask and Kitchen, Pimlico. Pours a slighty cloud deep orange-amber colour with large foamy head. Nose; citrus hops, yeasty, pine, grass. Taste; soft mouthfeel, decent carbonation, tangy, tangerine, floral, grass, suprisingly light for a xmas beer, but very enjoyable.

Great beer. Very heavy on the pine and citrus hops. Very fresh hop flavor and lightly sweet. A small hint of alcohol, some spices, and fruit in the finish. Not the typical winter seasonal.
