Bottled. Pours slightly hazy, amber with a nice off-white head.. Fair lacing. Nose of carame, citrus, pine and yeast. Medium sweet flavor with caramel, spices, grapefruit and fruits. Medium bodied, creamy texture and soft carbonation. Ends up more dry with some bitterness.

Appearance: Pours a clouded tan-colored body, the hue of sandalwood, with a foaming, lasting, off-white head.

Smell: Has an earthy, raw "green" hop aroma paired with citrus pith, jagged weeds, savory spices, and more alcohol than is really warranted.

Taste: A fleeting flitter of toasted grains before the tongue is ruthlessly dunked in a vat of citric, astringent juiced citrus fruits, harsh spices, a sharp bitterness, and seemingly more alcohol than the listed 8%. Finishes dry with an enduring coarseness. Some beers really have me wondering if this was what was in intended. This will leave you seeing Red as your face goes White.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.

Overall: A cruel, mean-spirited brew for the holiday season that was real work finishing what was in my glass (the remainder in the bottle was unceremoniously discarded).

Giant bottle. Thanks Faroeviking and Pinball for the birthday present! It pours hazy golden with a big off white head. The aroma is quite fruity and hoppy with notes of spices, yeast and caramel. The flavour is spicy hopped with notes of fruit, citrus, caramel, spices and passion fruit. Lovely.

Big thanks to yespr for that one. Bottle looks awesome. Beer in the glass very zippy, nice creamy head. Starts strong, modest malty, fine spicy, fruity background. More and more dry, a bit wheaty, finish a bit moldy. Starts really good, finish a bit too dry.

Thanks to Dutch’s for the bottle pour. A surprising floral, resin, cannabis hop presence in the nose and on the tongue. Hints of candy sugar and cinnamon to follow. Thankfully not too sweet. As far as Christmas beers go, this one is a keeper.
