Magnum that I shared at my in-laws for Christmas. Purchased last year at Dave’s Bellport Cold Beer & Soda. Pours a hazy amber with a moderate-large off-white head that lasted nearly to the last sip and laced the glass well. Very pleasant aroma of fresh oranges, malt, spice and honey. The flavor is similar to the aroma and equally enjoyable with malt, spice, honey and some citrus fruit and bitterness. Mildly dry at the finish along with some moderate bitterness. Medium bodied. Very enjoyable beer and a fun bottle to share for Christmas!

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Magnum Bottle from K & B. This beer pours a deep rich amber with a medium white head that dissipates quickly. The aromas are gingerbread, cinnamon, some citrus, and cake. The mouthfeel is sticky and a little dry with a medium body ending more dry than it started. This beer was not super heavy like a lot of Christmas/winter beers but had some good hops which gave it a little citrus on the nose and some dryness and a little bitterness in the mouth. This was a great beer! Cheers!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Poured clear dark copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted and produced excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex spice and alcohol aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy spice sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a good holiday beer.

Magnum. Poured honeyed golden with a huge, fluffy cap of white head.. sticky lacing. The aroma picked up spicy cinnamon, cloves, and white pepper over fruity and honey malts.. a little soapy and floral hop character.. good stuff. The flavor had a very dry base of honey and pale malts.. cloves, coriander, and peppery yeast laced throughout, and they were prickly around the tongue.. moderate-plus cat pee and floral bitterness.. dry, spicy, fairly bitter finish. Medium-bodied and very well carbonated on the palate.. the hops ended up being the most interesting part of the brew.. very good stuff.

Nice, stable, cream-coloured head over hazed red-amber beer. Nice C-hops, USA to the fore, some ureum, smelling somehow sticky, if that makes sense. More C-hops, but balanced by some nice cakey sugars. Ends on fruity notes, as nectarine and grapefruit. Spritzy, to near-fizzy, and yet full-bodied, yet the texture seems light. Superb beer, very much in the American style, and I can find very litte witbier character, here.

Magnum bottle at Cask and Kitchen, Pimlico. Pours a slighty cloud deep orange-amber colour with large foamy head. Nose; citrus hops, yeasty, pine, grass. Taste; soft mouthfeel, decent carbonation, tangy, tangerine, floral, grass, suprisingly light for a xmas beer, but very enjoyable.
