2012.12.30 - Mikkeller Red White Christmas - bottle in pint glass. I did not take notes while drinking this unfortunately but wanted capture my recollection a week later. Shared with friends while watching Redskins vs Coyboys at Lisa K's. Poured medium amber, nice color. Don't recall aroma. Taste was in ballpark of something like Affligem Noel. It was a bit of odd spice, maybe coriander, and gave me the impression of pine or spruce. I also mentioned tasting a bit like gin at one point. Was quite tasty, would drink again. I wish it was bottled in 750ml or better yet 375ml bottles.

Thanks to Dutch’s for the bottle pour. A surprising floral, resin, cannabis hop presence in the nose and on the tongue. Hints of candy sugar and cinnamon to follow. Thankfully not too sweet. As far as Christmas beers go, this one is a keeper.

Long Island, NY - Magnum bottle that survived the holiday season. It poured a hazy burnt orange color with lots of fluffy white head. Aroma was highly floral and hoppy, odd for a Witbier. Taste is where I got confused, no witbier at all. All that I got were hops and bitterness. Don't get me wrong this is an awesome brew a hybrid IPA.
