1500ml Bottle. The pour was a clear copper brown with a huge (3-4 fingers) cream colored fluffy head that had great retention and lasted throughout, reducing finally to a large cap with excellent sticky runny lacing. The aroma was of a biscuit malt, pine hops and a sweaty yeast with notes of caramel, citrus (grapefruit and orange peel), corriander and a touch of clove. The taste was a bitter malty with a mild caramel sweetness and a hint of citrus from the beginning, the finish on the other hand became rather hoppy with a slight citrus peel bitterness and a bit of spice towards the end. The flavor lasted a good long duration following the swallow, with a bitter hoppy and a spicy sweet taste left behind to linger on the taste buds. Mouthfeel was a step or two past light in body with a mildly dry texture and a medium carbonation. Overall this was an interesting brew for sure. Even though I really did not get much of the Witbier yeast flavor coming through, I did notice the slightly spicy citrusy flavor. But the Red Ale in this hybrid most definitely is the most dominant of the two...

Cloudy carroty / dark orange / brownish color, huge tan head. Hoppy and yeasty aroma, lots and lots of fruit, just wonderful. Orange, peach, some pine and biscuit. Medium to heavy bitterness and medium sweetness. Full body, average carbonation. Not a classic wit, extremely pleasant.

Bottle, 06/01/15. Muddied peach with a low clumping skim of head. Exotic, heavily perfumed aroma with suggestions of caraway, Haribo, jasmine and grenadine syrup. Mouth slightly agape with Californian peach and the ripe dragon fruit of hop Belgianed to the nines with mysterious seeds, dried flowers and flicked patchouli ash. Stamped indelibly with Belgium. Mad and soupy. Aggressive with spice like Belgian beer tasted when first I tasted it. Hops and spices aromatically cocktailed. Mad for the no alcohol beers of late but I do miss sinking a big spicy Belgian and talking bollocks at the internet.

330ml bottle. Hazy amber colour with average to huge, frothy, fully lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Intense, resinous hoppy aroma, citrusy notes of grapefruit and orange. Taste is bitter hoppy, lots of grapefruit, some blood orange, orange zest, a sweaty resinous touch, moderately sweet caramel malty basis. I guess I’d rubricated it under IIPA in a blind tasting.
