[on tap at EBF 2008] Excellent sour aroma with fruity notes: cherry, white grape. Also oaky. Foggy red currant appearance with no head. Only slightly vinegary sour fruit flavour with plenty of oak. Ginger note. Tingly sour--currant sourness. Excellent balance. Light body, medium carbonation, clean finish, if mouth puckering through the taste.

Light red, rosa coloured. A real colour for girls, not for beers. Head is white, mostly diminishing. Aroma has notes of oak, light fruit. Flavor is harsh acidic.

Rating #10from the european beer festival 2008. Light peachy color. Sour earth and wood in the aroma. Sour wild fermented flavor with the redcurrent notes being hard to catch. Worked well as a way to calibrate my tastebuds.

Had this at European Beer festival 13-09-08 Just had one from Nogne and then Mikkeller come back on the scene. Not so sure about this one but I suppose for me its because I just think this is too much, really, really quite punchy and in yer face sour, Mikkeller don’t beat about the bush when getting the flavours right in yer’ face do they. The redcurrant wasn’t totally obvious to me other than in the colour. I found this leaning too much towards a fruit vinegar than a lambic but I bet Mes would’ve loved it.

Draught@EBF2008. Pinkish red colour with small pinkish head. Aroma is sour wood, red currant and also some quite blackcurrants too. Flavour is bigtime sourness along with some red sour berries. Nice balance, but it could have a bit longer aftertaste.
