Pours hazy red with no head. Aroma has strawberries, viniousness, vanilla, red apple. Low carbonation, dry and a fat and oily texture. Very sweet flavour, very vinious (borderline alcoholic), strawberries, apples. Really not my thing, unharmonious with all that sweetness.

From tap at Mikkeller baren. Pours hazy dark orange to amber with a bubbly white head. Dense malty and fruity hoppy aroma. Thick malty, caramelish and dextroselike fruity and slight bitter. Distinct alcohol warmth. Fruity and caramelish into a dry hoppy and alcohol dense finish.

At CPH.Beerfestival.Orange colour with no head.Aroma is sweet of peach and prune.Flavor of warming alc and syrup medium body and nice smooth mouthfeels.

Draught @ Mikkeller bar. Orange coloured. Unclear. Almost non existent head. Sweetness, ripe fruits, some citrus, herbs, vague flowers and some alcohol. Flavour is sweet and full of ripe fruits like raisin and prunes. Spice and a light touch of the rum and wood notable. Alcohol very well hidden. Medium to full bodied. Sweetish, light spiced and fruity end. Alcohol says hello on palate and lips.

@ Copenhagen Beer Fest. Pours orange. Sweetness, tropical hops and alcohol in the aroma. The taste is sweet at first, then quite heavy. Ends with a lot of alchol coming through (in a good way). Fat big body.

Sample at Copenhagen beerfestival. Medium head with medium duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, molasses and alcohol. Thick and syropy.

Tap at Mikkeller. Hazy orange body with small off white head. The aroma is fruity with some alcohol, hops and barley. The flavour is sweet caramel, loads of barley, fruity hops, peach and warming alcohol. Great. Sweet caramel and fruity finish.

07-MAY-2010, @Beerfestival.dk. British inspired barley wine. Fruity, strong (alcoholic), and very sweet. Nice brew.

Fad: Orange uklar øl uden noget skumhoved der er værd at snakke om. Duften er lækker humlet men med en ordentlig dosis alkohol. Smagen er også lækker men alkoholen overdøver alt. Fadlagringen kan ikke anes. Men stadig god øl på trods af en klar ubalance henimod alkoholen.

amber. no head. flowery spicy light aroma. flavor is sweet malty, flowery hoppy, alc. unbelievably well hiden, exotic fruits, faint citrussy tinge makes it even better. parts of the flavor reminds me of a good mead.
