COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Øllen er brygget efter alle kunstens regler, og sådan som en klassisk belgisk lambic skal brygges, med umaltet hvede, og gammel humle. Og her stopper det traditionelle så, for den luftbårne gær denne øl er gæret med, kommer ikke fra området omkring Bruxelles. Den er derimod Vesterbro. Den vind der blæser ind over Hovedbanegården og truer med at blæse hatten af en rejsende, den vind der suser ned af Skælbækgade og får en radmagre narkoluder til at skutte sig, den vind der kommer ned af Istedgade og tager røgen fra de rygende trunter foran Bang og Jensens med sig, den vind har nemlig også bragt vaskeægte Vesterbro-gær med sig. Og den gær fra den vind, har gæret denne lambic. Og man kan næsten smage, eller i hvert fald fornemme, de rygende og de rejsende - og alle os andre. Men det er ikke alene gær der gør denne øl ekstraordinær, det er også frugten den er i den. Helt klassisk og traditionelt vil man bruge kirsebær eller hindbær til denne øltype, men Mikkeller er ikke god til traditioner, konventioner og det forventelige, og det er sikkert en af flere gode forklaringer på, at da det blev besluttet at der skulle frugt i denne øl, så faldt valget på rabarber.

At Borefts Bier Festival 2010. Hazy golden colored brew. Aroma is citric, sour. Flavor is sour, citrus. Subtle.

On tap @ 2nd BBF. The aroma is citric fruity, bit dusty. Hazy white-yellow coloured with no head. The taste is a little sour and tart, citric with a hint of milk. Dry finish.

24th September 2010. Borefts Beer Festival.
Hazy gold beer with atiny white head. Sourish nose - quite pungent. Dry crisp palate. Pretty sour, some vinegary acid but has some balance from the Rhubarb which Iwas pleased I could actually taste (I often can’t taste fruit in sours at all). Finishes dry and crisp.

The first Danish produced spontanious fermented beer I have tried. The aroma was good and traditional for a high end fruit lambic. The initial taste was fresh and good - though a bit watery. The aftertaste was more meaty and with a tad of sweetness. I’ll have no problem buying this again, though it doesn’t measure up against the best in the genre.

Tap @ BBF ’10. Hazy pale yellowish color, short head. Aroma of horseblanket, barnyard. Dry tart taste, some hint of vegetable. Champagne and dry white wine like.

Tap at 2nd BBF @ De Molen. Very strange sour flavor, somewhat creamy and almost like sour milk, but still quite tasteful. But it does reminds me of French Dijon style mayonnaise. Quite disturbing finish though. It’s a bit too strange for me.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2010 Handbottled by Theis. Thanks! Cloudy salmon like colur with rhubarb string floating around. Not very appealing. Quite acidic aroma with sour citric and rhubarb notes. Some sour apples as well. The flavour is sour fruit, acid and ends up light salty. Extremely dry finish. 7/2/6/3/14 New rating from Borefts Festival. Hazy yellow with a medium white head. The aroma is quite sour and acidic with notes of citrus. Very acidic and sour flavour with nice fresh rhubarb notes. Barnyard. Very dry finish. Great.

Håndtappet at T&Ms. Pours a murky pig-skin coloured with no head and floaties. Smells fruity with hints of vinegar. Sour and slightly peppary. Also aromas of rhubarb and hints of vanilla. Medium bodied. No carbonation. Sour and peppery finish.

Draught during sour weekend at Mikkellerbar, b-day present from evil stepdad. Hazy yellow look with a dense white head. Strong lambic aroma with a sweet candy rhubarb fruitiness, nice. Heavy acidic sour flavor with a grany cereal finish including sesam seeds, extra tart!

Handbottled from tap at Papsø. Hazy pale yellow coloured with a red gleam and a small white head. Fruity and light acidic aroma of rhubarbs. Fruity and acidic flavour of cereal, brett and rhubarbs. Tart finish.
