Dobre piwo o miodowo kwiatowym zapachu. W smaku takze wyczuwalny miod oraz imbirowy korzen. Ktory umiejetnie studzi slodkosc piwa. Piwo jest slodowe, malo chmielne ale jakby winna wytrawnosc sie trafiala w koncowce. Lekko metne. Minus za dziwna i nieatrakcyjna etykiete

4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Day 9 of Julepakkekalender from Mikkeller. Bottled.
Aroma: Has a cheesy nose, reminiscent of pecorino. Slight whiffs of ginger and hops.
Appearance: Pours a hazy gold. Has a light head, that sat on top for the whole time (30 minutes).
Taste: A sweet, mild ginger flavour. A very smooth honey aftertaste.
Palate: A bit bitter from the ginger, but overall very sweet. The use of honey lets the beer slide down your throat. Light carbonation. Medium body. Slightly creamy.
Overall: I thought I’d hate this beer, but I was wrong! The ginger taste isn’t overpowering, and the addition of honey helps this beer become FAR too drinkable. It’s almost like a sore throat cure for beer lovers. It reminds me of sparkling mead.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml. Veiled and coppery with a thick, rocky band of suds going nowhere. Zested nose with a distinctly Belgian, peppery coriander/chopped parsley profile. Moussey and perfumed with an archetypal, citrusy, green herb Belgian ting; ginger and honey swallowed by silk, lemon jelly, white pepper. The merest crumb of gingernut. Rounded, aromatic, satisfying stuff. Underrated because it isn’t expensive, rare or high in alcohol.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: Smelling of dough, mango, spices and grass.
Appearance: A hazy amber colored beer. A off-white head with some lacing and some curtains.
Taste: Tasting sweet bread, mango chutney and apple peel.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a soft texture. A medium body with a slightly dry finish.
Overall: Sweet and spice, leaves a warm feeling.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at home. Pours a delicious amber-gold with a bright and fluffy pure white head that foams enthusiastically straight from the bottle. Light coriander with a good dose of pepper and a little floral lemon on the nose. Quite dry on palate and the actual feel in the mouth reminds me of a chamois leather in a bucket of water - a little rough but dry, oily but a little bubbly. When the beer pours over the tongue there is a slight pause and then an intense white pepper flavour comes through but without the associated heat. A little coriander seed, a touch of ginger and then a slightly cloying sweetness which I assume is coming from the added honey. An aftertaste resonant of a lemon pastille sweet but not quite as sharp, maintains interest and this becomes quite dry especially across the tongue. This beer is almost a lighter version of a Belgian golden ale but this would imply a lack of taste or mouthfeel whereas this has neither. Very good.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Cloudy golden beer with a very strong frothy white head. The aroma is very refreshing citric with some yeastiness. The flavour is very nice with a light citric fruity bitterness coming from the ginger, and a yeasty finish. Overall a very nice beer with more than a touch of wheat beer similarity.

0.33 L bottle, purchased @Kihoskh, København. Huge foamy blond head. Shady, deep gold colored body. Honey and bubblegum, mild spices and a fresh lactic-acidic-sweetness to the nose. Very unusual, very inviting. Rounded flavors. Fresh and acidulous, with some nice fruit tones and hint of spice and gently sweet malts. Ligh-bodied, easy on tha palate. Highly drinkable with lots of well merging flavors and aromas. Nice all over.

Bottle at home. Slightly hazy vivid orange pour, thick frothy white head. Nose is nice soft caramel, subtle ginger and some honey. Similar flavours, touch of saison graininess to it, some ginger warmth at the back of the mouth and a slightly peppery lager finish. I like this.

25/VII/2012 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: 24/X/12 - (2012-753)
Clear amber to copper red beer, big creamy off-white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing. Aroma: grassy, quite some spices, grainy malts, touch of sugar. MF: ok carbon if a bit much, medium body. Taste: little sweet in the start, carbon sourness, bit lemony, oranges, sweet, honey, spices, bit grassy. Aftertaste: little bitter, some lemon, sweet touch, mainly spices, a bit of "zing".

Very hazy gold beer with good pale cream coloured head. Light palate but with some stinging carbonation. Minerals. Mild pale malt. A little sweet honey. Very mild hops that go well with the mild ginger. Dry crisp finish. All right!
