Aroma is stale with herbs and spices. Somewhat foamy and sticky palate. Flavour has spices, ginger and hints of apricot. Weird stuff.

A very nice ginger beer with a light sweet aroma. Has an initial sweet taste with a citrus / ginger after taste that stays for a while.

Hazy amber/orange color, thin white head. Aroma of malt, spices. Taste is sweet and spicy, some vaguely fruitiness. Medium body, soft to average carbonation. Easy but not watery. OK, but really nothing special.

In short: spicy golden ale.
Pours quite clear gold, some white head. Spicy nose. Crispy texture, high carbonation. Ginger taste, some honey sweet flavours. Peculiar, not sure if enjoyable.

Day 9 of Julepakkekalender from Mikkeller. Bottled.

Aroma: Has a cheesy nose, reminiscent of pecorino. Slight whiffs of ginger and hops.
Appearance: Pours a hazy gold. Has a light head, that sat on top for the whole time (30 minutes).
Taste: A sweet, mild ginger flavour. A very smooth honey aftertaste.
Palate: A bit bitter from the ginger, but overall very sweet. The use of honey lets the beer slide down your throat. Light carbonation. Medium body. Slightly creamy.
Overall: I thought Iíd hate this beer, but I was wrong! The ginger taste isnít overpowering, and the addition of honey helps this beer become FAR too drinkable. Itís almost like a sore throat cure for beer lovers. It reminds me of sparkling mead.
