from Erzbierschof - hazy red-orange beer under a choaticfoam left; sticky nose with notes of candi sugar, apples, vanilla and strawberry marmalade; very sweet and quite full-bodied; no bitterness and a long juicy, spicy and fruity finish with lingering notes of vanilla and candi sugar - original

Bought a bottle at De Molen in Bodegraven, Netherlands. I was expecting a sour cherry beer and ended being quite disappointed. Instead it was a sweet beer, to be honest didn’t even taste much like beer with a hint of cherries at the end. On the plus side it has a nice color and the bottle is beautiful.

Bottle. Clear orange red pour, thin off white head. Pretty sweet and syrupy, cherry, nuttiness, mild cough syrup, marzipan, and slight tartness. Too sweet for my liking.

Bottle from Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Clear, dark copper colour. Film of white head. Cherry compote. Actually, forget all that. Cabana chocolate bars. Probably early to mid eighties. Those, in a glass. Lovely.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Nice hazy. organgeish red beer with a white bubbly head. Very personal brew which actually reminds of Finnish christmas rice porridge enjoyed with fruit soup. Strange but enjoyable.

Bottled. Hazy ruby beer, lacy head. Aroma or raspberries, sour cherries, sugary mixed-fruit juices. Some currant leaves, slightly doughy malts. Malty, berryish flavor, some sugar, fermented plums. Medium body, flat, sugary.

A pinkish-red hazy beer poured into a HF stem. Slight vanilla nose, and some cherry. Taste is nutty, kind of soapy, slightly sour, some cherry. Not sure about this.

Flaska från SB. Grumlig röd vätska med ett ljust mastodontskum. Doftar syrligt av körsbär. Smaken är lite sursöt och ganska torr. Dör ut rät fort i munnen. Kul grej, men inte särskilt gott.

Bottle: Hazy red colour, big head. Aroma is dominated of fruity, berry, dust, wody, and citrus. Flavor had a nice sweet malty, fruity, woody mouthfeeling, medium body, medium fruity finish. Well done
