Pours a great pinkish red. Slightly acidic aroma of tart fruit and marzipan. Cherry flavors balanced by sweet almond. Light acidity, finishes dry. Very unique beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

THOUGHTS: Wow. That was a lot of cherry for a non-lambic beer. For being mostly all about cherry it sure had a lot of complexity — sweet, sour and acidic. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, light to medium orangey, red with a large, sort of pinkish head that mostly but slowly diminished leaving good lacing. The aroma contained moderate nutty malt; light cobweb yeast; both sweet and sour cherry; honey; hints of brown sugar; cherry pits; and a hint of vinegar. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and moderately acidic; while the finish was lightly sweet, moderate to heavily acidic and lightly bitter with and average to long duration. There was sweet cherry, sour cherry, almond, honey, hints of brown sugar, nutty malt, and cherry pit. The medium body was dry with fizzy carbonation and a dry and light to moderately astringent finish.

Wow.. I loved this beer. Color reminds me of the leaves changing in autumn. Not much lacing or head. Flavor of light fruits, a lot of cherry- nice bubbly balanced carbonation. Left me wanting more.

Keg at Craft. Orange amber and slightly cloudy with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity, jammy, maybe strawberry and cherry. Taste quite like a jam tart, bit of pastry and some sweet fruitiness. Not too sweet though. Touch of underlying bitterness but only a trace. Very rich smell but not overpoweringly so. Maybe even a bit of tomato in there! Further down gets a bit more malty. Beautifully drinkable and really really nice.

0,375 l bottle.
Poured murky pink brownish with a fantastic creamy foam on the surface. Some belgian yeast in the fruity aroma, some toasted grains, vanilla and candies, sour cherry with berries, spicies. Very interesting and lively aroma. Oily texture brings the fruity taste with cherries of course, vanilla and some lactic flavor, light sourish character, spicies like cinnamon. Fine, good and interesting one! Taste like a fine dessert. Yumm.

12.7 oz. bottle, PDT: 4/18/11- Pours a very hazy deep orange with a huge three finger off white almost reddish pink head. Aroma is nutty, mildly tart, cherries, creamy, strawberry shortcake. The taste is unsweetened cherries, almonds, tart, alcohol. Body is medium, carbonation is medium high, finish is tart and lingers. Good not too sweet fruit beer, massively complex, a winner for sure.

Ruby red in color. Bubbly, thick white head with spotty lacing. Cranberry aroma. Malty aroma is prominent. Fruity with a nutty follow. Creamy texture light carbonation. It has a very smooth finish. Again mikkeller came through with a good beer.

T - Sweet caramel and biscuity malts, cherries with a touch of sourness, almonds, some residual sugars. M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth with a sweet, warming finish. sampled 375 ml. bottle @ Kerstbierfestival 2011: lovely looking hazy orange amber with a decent white head – S: sweet spices & delicious American hops – T: bitter American hops, pine & citrus, bitterness follows over in the aftertaste but I am also getting cherry juice now, nuts, slightly floral, malt & yeast base underneath somewhere – B: oily & medium carbonation – rather liked this

Had at rattle with Andy. I could not pick up much of an aroma from the beer, however this may be because of the goblet. However taste is very fruity filled with mediterainian fruits.
