Bottle. Clear copper with a huge creamy off white head, nicely lacing and good retention. Barnyard, grapes, apples, dusty, light pepper, wood. A bit high carbonation, soft and filling mouth feel, medium body. Has some sweetness to it and not much bitterness, but the finsh is kind of neutral with some bretty dryness and barnyard notes. Good stuff.

Bottle, Opaque gold w/ foamy white head. Aroma is musty, lemony funk, some oakiness. Wow, this is really nice. Soft subtle grainy base with creamy lemony funk throughout. Great name, feels like a walk through a sunny field. Loved this beer

Golden blonde with a generous creamy white head. Hints of chardonnay and melons. Medium body, creamy, green grapes, slightly vinous, finishes on a sweet, grapey, vinous finish. Not overly complex but very well balanced and drinkable

phaleslu (5869) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 20, 2014
375 ml bottle shared by DrSilverworm- thanks again, Chris! Pours a hazed gold with a white head. Aroma of white wine, oak, butter, vanilla, straw, cheesecloth, and bready malts. The flavor is exactly the same as the aroma. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. Pretty good, but probably not worth the shelf price.

Bottle shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured a clear golden color with an average to large frothy white head that mostly lasted with good to excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy balanced sweet wood and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet fruit flavor with a medium to heavy sweet fruit finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer.

12.7oz bottle, on close out at Party Source. Shared with local raters. 2012 vintage. Mostly hazy golden orange color. Thin white head. Couple loose bits of lace. Looks solid. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Good moderate tart taste, moderate sweet. Nice oaky white wine, lightly spicy, some citrus aromas. Solid stuff.
