Bottle 0,375l. Very dark brown body, minimal tan head. Such nice sweet aroma of fresh coconut milk, raisins, dates, quality liqueur, cherries. Taste is dry and slightly bitter, pleasantly tart. Coconut, coconut candies, dates, raisins, vanilla, cherries, hint of licorice and lot of alcohol. Full body, average carbonation, very silky on tongue, alcohol presence is welcome.
Oh, very well!
Personal note: 3/3 BA for celebration of 3rd wedding anniversary.

Bottle thanks to Vestergaard. Pours almost black with a brown head. Aroma of cinnamon, buttery cognac, raisins, syrup, dates, plums, orange crunch and sweet esters. So christmassy Geeee! The taste also has that cinnamon, some orange, dark sweet fruits, syrup, liquored marzipan, coconut cakes (kokostoppe) and a big amount of sweet barrel notes. Wow this was surprisingly good! A perfect christmas beer.

Thank you! Sampled 375 ml. bottle @ Kerstbierfestival Essen 2015. Very dark brown to black, mocha bubbles. Nose is warming, lots of spirit, big booze with light vanish, mocha, chocolate syrup, powerful,… Taste is gorgeous, coconut, raisin, dates, sugar, candy, marzipan, huge vanilla from the oak, sugar, sweet dough,… Beautiful oxidation, this is everything an aged Belgian wants to become when it grows up. Body is touch thinned & oxidized. A truly rare & beautiful example of everything gone right in an aged beer of this kind. Lovely.

Bottle, bought at Bierkompass in 2014. Dark brownish/red with a small head. Quite a lot of cocoa both in the aroma and taste. Also some chocolate and oak. Almost full body and with a low carbonation. A smooth and pleasant one.

@ Eddan 15-12-5: lätt och len doft med små cognackstoner. Smaken är tydlig kokkos och inte så mycket annat. Inte helt balanserad.

Bottle thanks to Vestergaard! Pours black with a medium brown head. Aromas of rice pudding, cinnamon, dark sugar, crocant, dark fruits, licorice, butter, "kokostoppe", spices, dark chocolate. Taste is roasty, lots of barrel, vanilla, licorice, cinnamon, dark fruits, spices. Damn this is nice and special!

Bottle from Voldby Købmandsgård. Pours a deep, dark reddish brown - almost black - with a nice big, brown head. Aroma has lots of cinnamon, clove, vanilla, lots of spices, belgian yeasty fruit notes with dates and raisins. Again raisins in a more cognac kind of way, dark malts, lots of caramel. Can’t believe if there isn’t cinnamon in this. Chocolate, sweet caramelized orange peel. Taste is sweet, more malty, slight roast, strong alcohol heat, lots of cognac character, coconut!! KOKOSTOPPE!!!!! sweet licorice, Anthon Berg marzipanbrød with cognac, orange. Really nice and complex taste! Pretty full bodied, medium low carbonation. This is really really good!!

Draught at Mikkeller Bangkok. Unclear dark red-brown colour with no head. The aroma has notes of dark fruit, spice, caramel, and lots of cognac. The flavour is sweet with dark fruit (plum/prune, dates) spices, caramel, coconut, cognac. A warning and long finish. I really dig this.

Bottle @ Voldby tasting. Blackish pour with a dark head. Prunes, figs, dates, muscovado, syrupy and light spice. Pretty good!
