Brown pour with watery head and lace. A touch of roastiness and brown sugar. Flavor is sweet brown sugar with roasted malt and a nice bitter finish. Medium body with good carbonation. No sour no tartness is this really a sour? It is an ok tasting beer, but to style?

Tasting at Paul and Lorna’s flat. Deepest Croydonia. Lightly hazy deep amber beer, tidy bubbly cream colour head. Palate is airy with mild fine carbonation. Mild generic fruits, little dried fruits. Touch of floralness. Light airy finish. Fine but was expecting something more intense flavour wise.

Bottle. Poured a clear dark brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy earthy sour fruit aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration. This is an interesting beer.

750 ml bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a slightly hazy brown color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, caramel, some fruity character, very light tart character, herbal citrus tang, grapes, for a sour this isn’t very sour.

Bottle shared pre-Zwanze 2014. Pours clear amber with a creamy, tan head. Ripe, lightly tangy berry fruits on the nose, cherry, grape. Light to medium sweet flavor with more ripe, slightly rotten fruits, hints of leather, leaves, earth, alcohol, old toffee. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Warming finish with more ripe berries, subtle tang, alcohol, old wood and leather. Not bad.

750ml brown bottle with cap. Brownish orange, some haze. Head is tan. Nose has berry, red grape, touch of sour, a little dusty. Taste has grape, red berry, winey and a little woody. Lightly sour and winey aftertaste. Overall, a bit unfocused and not as interesting as I had hoped... rating #2600 nonetheless.

750ml bottle from Brewdog AGM, shared with jeevan. Pours dark brown, short-lived tan head. Red fruit, wood notes, sour aromas. Taste is sour, much like a Flemish brown. Nicely done.

22-AUG-2014, draft @Mikropolis. Almost clear Brown with lasting, lacing, tan head. Bruin-like elements like Wood, wine, berries. Medium body and carbonation, but bordering on watery finish. Strange for 8,5%.

Fra fat på Cardinals enestående Brewers’ Night: sweet&sour og forbausende lett for sine 8,5 er en enkel oppsummering. Rett og slett litt rar, og den etterlot seg intet varig avtrykk på sjelen.

@Basunen 14-8-16: trevlig, lite källar-doft. Tydlig syrlig med fina undertoner av torkat frukt. Ganska så trevlig. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!
