Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Cris. Deep amber-brown. Aroma of malt, caramel, sour fruits, candy, cherries, wood, cobwebs, and a bit of alcohol. Sweet-sourish flavor with cherries and other dark fruits, caramel, wood, malt, and an alcohol note. Medium-bodied.

Dark red color with some fine pored foam. Sweet caramel nose. The taste is sweet and fruity. Strawberry and red berry mixture I would say. Not sour at all, so a bit disappointing for the style. Not bad beer, but not what I expected.

Amber-orange color with small head. A bit funky, vineous, fruity, malty. Very sweet, berry-like. Low carbonation. Warming. Overall a bit weak. Okay, but not the best of Wild Ales.

Bottle 750ml @ Geokkjer
Pours hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, dark dried fruits, alcohol, funk, vinous, bubblegum and hint of sugar. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter and light sour with a long slightly warm, red berries and red wine finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 75cl. It pours an unclear, reddish-amber body under a dense, two-finger light beige head. Lacings. There’s sugary caramel, dried fruits and some berries in the aroma, rather weak. It’s tart and sour on the palate, medium to full bodied, rather soft. It’s vinous, with some red berries, dried fruits and caramel. Lasting finish. More interesting than really good this one. 150328
