Bottle. Pours a murky brown body with a medium off-white head. Nose is bretty stable tones, red wine, dark fruits, raisins and hints of caramel and candi sugars. Taste is red wine, wood, raisins, sharp bretty notes, bitter herbs and hints of straw and alcohol. Medium body and carbonation. Fair enough, but not too convincing.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. This is a hazy very dark brown beer, pouring with a creamy white head. It has very rich cherry and almond flavours, slight tart red fruit and currants followed by a creamy Christmas spiced finish. Superb!

On tap @ beertempel. Pours a dark brownish color with a beige head. An aroma of caramel, sweet oak, dry straw and hay. Also some dark sweet fruits and a weak "oud brun" quality to it as well. Taste is sweet but yet bitter with those same dry and sweet notes from the aroma. Also some sweet esters here.
