75 cl bottle.
Pours dark red color with a large off-white head. Quite burnt aroma, some ashes, dark malts and some faint fruity notes. Earthy, cellar-y flavor, some fruits and yeast too. Something kills the aftertaste right away, not in mint condition I’d say. A great disappointment.

750 ml bottle. Pours a dark amber brown colour with a large foamy head. Aroma of red berries, gooseberry bush, burnt bread and doughy yeastiness. Flavour of strong bready maltiness, messy doughy yeastiness, some fruitiness, dust, pungent red berries, grass and sweetness. Medium bodied and a bit foamy mouthfeel. Alcohol comes through. Tastes like an Alvinne beer. Not that good. Aging won’t help, I think.

Tap at Royston Hotel, Richmond, Melbourne (located opposite to the Mountain Goat brewery). Light sour tartness balances brown sugar sweetness with a touch of apples, dark fruits, and figs. Dry faintly sour finish. A good starter for sour beer novices. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml bottle, thanks to BeerandBlues2. Poured a ruby amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma was notes of cherry, oak. Earthy notes. Light cherries, not a lot of tartness, perhaps just a very light note. Boring.
