3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy copper colored pour. Large off-white, egg-white consistency, head that slowly recedes and leaves huge amounts of lacing behind. Big hoppy aroma. Some malt hiding in there. Citrusy and bitter hop flavor. Carbonic bite. Thin and dry. Not too shabby.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle at home. Slightly murky orange, thin white head. Distinct orange, hint of marmalade nose, hoppy citrus. Juicy foamy palate, bitter blood orange, slight marmalade sweetness, short bitter linger. Not as good as the Nelson or Simcoe, but still a lovely beer.

Bottle. Golden orange with resilient white head. Citrus hop nose and a big hop flavour. Again, I appreciate being shown exactly what attributes the Amarillo hop imparts. Delicious.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: MAR 8, 2012 Almost clear orange, white soapy head. Slightly firmer than the apollo I just had. Compared to that, this aroma is a bit more dimmed, but also has more fresh citrus and lemon. Plus some grassy notes and a more cheesy yeast presence. Taste is very bitter, even more so than the apollo, and hints with some orange juice sweetness at first. Overall a really nice, strong bitter taste. Slightly refer this over the apollo; a bit more balanced, without loosing character or flavour. Brings even more to the table. Great brew. (Re-rated. 33cl bottle, expensive)

25/11/2011 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Bevuta al Mikkeller Single Hop Festival. Ambrata, leggermente spenta, schiuma bianca morbida, mediamente persistente. Aroma agrumato (mandarino), resina, pino, note floreali. In bocca ha un attacco di caramello un po’ troppo invadente, il luppolo inizialmente viene fuori, ma ad ogni sorsata svanisce sempre più. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. Forse non perfetta, ma comunque buona.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle 33 oz. Ambre with an orange glow. Huge creamy off-white head and of long duration. The aroma is moderately malty with lots of hops, which gives taste of citrus and grapefruit. The taste is slightly sweet but still completely dominated by hops that give a good bitter taste and a very long good hoppy aftertaste

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught @ 3 Små Rum. Pours copper with a big gray head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of trace on the glass. Smell is almost all grapefruit with some orange zest and caramel. Taste is packed with citrus with orange zest, lemon zest and grapefruit juice. There’s also pine and a floral sweetness. It’s quite bitter with a smooth bitter finish.
